We know we’ve been out of touch for a while. We’ve missed you, but we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes to bring you more resorts and deals in the 2011-2012 season. It’s only September, and we already have deals in at Alta, Snowbird, Attitash, Whiteface, Bolton Valley, Park City, Monarch, Mad River Glen, and more. (Suscribe to our newsletter to make sure you get timely updates!)
In the past few months, we’ve grown our team considerably and have moved into new offices in San Francisco . We’ve also revamped our logo, updated our site to streamline your shopping experience and make purchasing easier and faster, and integrated the blog in a more meaningful way – so you can expect to be hearing a lot more from me, my co-founder Ron, and others like Ryan, Kate, Matt, Jenn, Otto, in the future. We want this space to reflect our collective enthusiasm for work and play. We’re all passionate about skiing and boarding – as well as our jobs, which allow us to hit the slopes as much as possible!
You’ll hear from us throughout the season about industry trends and news, special events such as the X Games, our opinions on the best gear and insights into what we’re seeing in terms of where to find the most savings, best resorts for families, where experts are hitting the backcountry and where beginners are becoming intermediates.
We’ll also introduce you to a few new faces, including notable industry bloggers who’ll share their skiing and snowboarding experiences and provide an inside look on snow conditions, resort trends and news from around the country. Their regional reports will cover subjects like where to find the best snow, seasonal activities, and what’s new on the mountains from terrain, lifts, services, upgrades and renovations. Check back soon to meet them.
So while we wait for the first flakes to fall (and hopefully deliver a repeat of last winter’s epic snowfall!), drop us a line and tell us if there’s anything you’d like us to include. As always, we welcome your comments and feedback. You can subscribe to our blog and stay connected via Facebook and Twitter.
