April 1st 2012 and Still Skiing - No Fooling

By Mike Doyle, About.com Guide April 1, 2012

No April Fools' Day joke - there are a lot of ski resorts still spinning lifts. For sure, this wasn't the epic season that we had last winter, but, it is what it is and there's plenty of time to make fun in the spring corn.

2012-2013 season passes are available at many areas and - if you didn't get a pass this year at your favorite area - check to see if they allow you ski the rest of this season using next year's pass.

Liftopia is hosting a Spring Savings Sale with savings of up to 87% at more than 75 resorts across North America. For example you can save 35% off single-day lift tickets at Park City Mountain Resort with prices starting at $62.50 and 29% off single-day lift tickets at Sundance with prices starting there at only $35.00.

Resorts in the East are still in the mix for big savings such as 55% off single-day lift tickets at Mount Snow 45% off a 2-day pass at Killington with prices starting at $88.99.

So take a spring break and go skiing - it's really the only way to get that goggle tan glow!
