Loveland Ski Area sits high atop The Continental Divide and offers a ski experience like no other. Just 53 miles from Denver & 12 miles east of Silverthorne, Loveland offers 1,365 acres of terrain and 400" of snow each season. More snow. Less crowds. No Fuss. This is Core Colorado.

Loveland has two base areas - Loveland Basin and Loveland Valley. Loveland Valley, typically open mid-Nov through early-April, is home to our ski school and features gentle terrain perfect for making your first turns. Loveland Basin offers the intermediate/advanced skiers and riders groomed runs, steeps, bumps, glades and plenty of terrain above treeline to explore. Chair 9 whisks riders up to 12,770 feet atop The Continental Divide where amazing views, open bowls and powder choked chutes await.

Loveland also offers free close-in parking, virtually no lift lines and a laid back, local feel. Whether you are planning a family trip or looking to shred some of Colorado's finest snow, Loveland will not disappoint. There are no hotels or fancy villages here.
