This package is good for a FULL DAY Burton Snowboard Lesson/Lift Ticket plus Lunch. Full Day Lessons are available for all skill levels from 9:30am to 3pm. Lunch is provided ... from a select menu, at one of the on-mountain restaurants. Additional food items available for purchase.
Since 1947, the Winter Park Ski & Ride School has offered the best lesson value for all skill levels. Join us for the 2011/2012 season as we celebrate our 65th season with a brand new lesson line up.
Ski Lesson Program Levels:
No need to select a snowboard ability level. Instructors will help you determine the correct level for your lesson when you arrive.
BURTON LEARN TO RIDE™:
New to snowboarding? Our coaches will provide you individual attention to maximize your skill development.
INTRO TO TURNS:
Our trained coaches will have you riding with new skills in Discovery Park. Then progress to new terrain and lifts. Learn to make single turns and then to link turns with skill.
CRUISERS:
This level is for those riders who are already linking turns on green trails and want to explore more of the mountain. This lesson may explore Freestyle elements and green or blue terrain.
FREERIDE:
Trees, bumps and steeps are what this level is all about. At this level, we'll help you develop new skills to ride any terrain you want with style. Lesson may explore blue, blue-black, and black terrain.
INTRO TO FREESTYLE:
This level focuses on riding the park and pipe and will have you nailing tricks and mastering features. Participants must be able to link turns on blue terrain prior to selecting this level. Use of a helmet is required in all freestyle programs. Read more
Pick-up instructions
This lift/lesson package can be redeemed at Balcony House Group Ticketing Desk; open daily from 8am to 4pm. Balcony House is located at the base of Winter Park Resort. Package may also be redeemed at Winter Park Village Rentals which is located adjacent to Zephyr Mountain Lodge at the base of Winter Park Resort. Open daily from 8am to 9pm.
Voucher is redeemable for a FULL DAY adult lift/snowboard lesson and lunch ticket. Lunch is provided from a select menu, at one of the on-mountain restaurants. Additional food items available for purchase.
Ski Lesson Meeting Location: Adult Ski & Ride School lessons meet in front of the Snowboard Bell Tower at 9:15am sharp! No need to select a snowboard ability level. Instructors will help you determine the correct level for your lesson when you arrive.
