Wait for fresh snow. Go mid-week. Start on North - Ski to Granite. Do Granite a few times - no wait for a lift and no need to take your skis off. Then ski over to South when it opens at noon. Hit South a few times. Make it to Bear and do the racing hill a bunch of times before 2:00pm - they start setting up for races then. Usually never a lift line. Get off the mountain by 3:30/4:00, when it starts to get icy and all the kids get there.

enjoyed one of the last days to ski this season...March 24th. For a small mountain, usually ski Vermont or Mass., this place was alright! don't expect long runs or difficult diamonds....many people on the slopes but not terribly overcrouded. I can see this tri-state ski hill has the potential to be packed and I can only imagine the lift lines with no detachable quad working. All in all a great day for my friend and I. Will be back, mid-wk and off holiday for sure!

the Cabriolet was not working most of the day.. we had to go to the South and stayed there pretty much the whole day and it got crowded because everyone decided to go there.

- Be aware of speed trap 1/4 mile in on 515 North from 23. - Long walk from parking lot to base when lugging gear. -Some drop offs along side of trails not marked properly with orange warning circle. -Great prices on Liftopia for mid-week skiing make it well worth coming. - Staff has been friendly. -Will not come here on weekends. -Wish there was a little less terrain park, being an older cruising only skier. -All in all a good resort to get your skiing in.

I have been skiing for a couple of years and got the bug bad when I first started. I lived in Vermont off of Okemo last year and skied 50+ days. That being said I usually don't choose Mountain Creek because of the quality of snow and crowd. Although I love their beirgarten and would love to see more of them in resorts. But this trip was by far my favorite trip to Mountain Creek. I love glades and tight turns and speed and surprisingly it did have the short little glade runs I like to hop in and out of. Also it had just enough snow to get some speed going. I went with 8 people and we all didn't have a single complaint. Definitely going back seeing as I live in Port Jefferson and like the short ride. They have only two lifts there main is good but gets packed out because no one wants to ride the slow triple through the condos to the same spot. if they upgraded the triple it would be a great local mountain for the quick day.

Green slopes and their lifts were extremely crowded on Saturday. The rest of the mountain was not as crowded, but it was quite icy. Can't really blame them, since it's the weather. Also, really dumb Cabriolet lift: you gotta take off your skis/boards, must stand there and be exposed to wind.

Be careful when you walk around outside main building. Ice is everywhere. I fell down so hard even though I was caucious (lucky that I was wearing a helmet.) I should've brought elbow and hip protectors. Slope conditon was not for the beginners. It was icy and too long.glo

Be careful about booking for days with warm weather. I booked two tickets for my girlfriend and I for Christmas Day. It had rained the day beforehand and was warm. We were sure it couldn't be opened, and we would be allowed to exchange for another day. Sure enough Creek decided to open up with only 1 trail (not even the whole trail actually), in order to force us into the "use it or lose it". This was very low imo, the mountain was clearly not in condition to be skied on, and they were opening up just to make a buck from Christmas traffic, with no real service to provide. This isn't my first time having customer related issues with Mountain Creek as I had a season pass last year, and while it was convenient for my location. I didn't even consider doing triple play this year based on experience from last year and my Christmas Day letdown was no surprise. Avoid going to Creek if you can help it, the only positives is its close (for those of us in the NJ area) and cheap.

Went on a Friday in mid March, hardly any lines, conditions were very good considering the rainy weather and re-freeze the preceding days, mostly used the Cab lift, the dumbest lift I have ever seen also used the quad on Granite Peak, much better. Overall very good, nice terrain, Cab lift was the low point. Nice lodge great views.

We went on a Thursday the conditions weren't that great, icy on some of the black diamonds. The cabriolet was closed to my surprise and the only one open to go up was the Vernon triple lift which was all beat up wood and very uncomfortable you have to brace yourself when loading in because the chair is all wood crap it feels like your being pushed off the lift when your trying to get on them. I like the steepness of some of the slopes in this mountain it doesn't get me bored. Most of snowboarders who come here are really ghetto and haters, that they think they own the whole mountain. So I came here to ski last Thursday and a snowboarder with his buddies made a comment that is not really cool about skiing. I was just shaking my head. This is an example why snowboarders gets such bad rep because we don't know how to share the mountain and respect other people who is also there just to have fun. I'm a snowboarder too but I mostly ride out West in the Powder or the Backcountry and I ski here in the east because of the hardpack.

Mountain Creek it was over crowded during President's week Thursday! In a way that it was dangerous on the slopes. 70% of the people who were skiing or boarding did not belong on the mountain. Lift operators on South Peak they had poor experience!! It's a great mountain to ski or board but not on a weekend or a holiday....too small for those days!

First time to Mtn Creek on President's Day was not a good idea. After arriving at 9:20, our party of 3 were not on the slopes skiing until 11:45 due to long ticket lines (even though I had purchased on line) and LONG rental line for our beginner skiing friend. The lift lines were long, the trails overly crowded...even waited in a bathroom line. There wasn't much in the way of more advanced terrain and the trails were crowded. We really liked the terrain parks and trails. I would try it again but not on a weekend/holiday and if one needs to rent equipment, rent it down the road before getting to Mountain Creek. Be prepared for lots of families.

But last sunday didn't happen that way because Monday was Presidents Day (Holiday), mostly people stayed till 8:00pm ... it was good but just trails was overly crowded I am not sure about this weekend ... I heard today rain is expected ... other wise i would be there most definitely ... snow was great .... we had lots of fun

If you need to rent skis I recommend you do hat ahead of time maybe at your local rental shop. Granted we did go on a busy holiday weekend Sunday in Feb, but we also had to wait over 2 hours on the rental (about $48 each) lines. Parking can be a challenge and if you don't want to walk the distance from the P lots then you can wait about 5-15mins for a shuttle with your carry on equipment. I will say I was impressed with how the lift lines did move along well, and we Loved the 8 passenger stand up gondola that's fast and takes you up to the top (beginner runs up there too). MC offered $10 off if you hand in your old Out of State (ie: NY/VT etc) used 2013/14 lift ticket. Now I see they offer a $99 starting 2/18 for the remainder of the season, so enjoy you ski hound dogs but please be considerate with the skiers around you.

I am laughing at some of these reviews...this is a beginner/intermediate skiers paradise...I usually ski the steeps of New Hampshire, but the fantastic storm on Wednesday/Thursday led me to want to go here. Mountain Creek has a tremendous amount of snow this year! The crowds on Friday were large, but school had been cancelled and it was the beginning of the holiday week....they were a little behind on staffing. I think it was a suprise to have so many customers that day. Still, it was fun to ski on the VERY EASY terrain in massive amounts of snow...with crowds and all. As for the Liftopia deal, remember the food credit is a one shot, grab your extra soda before hitting the register.

Don't go here if you are a beginner. I love skiing and took my daughter here thinking she was ready after going to CampGaw Mountain. Their green hills (including the easiest named "Sugar Hill") are really blue advanced hills. They also have a practice section, but it is too easy for a beginner. I wish they had something in between. I will stick to CampGaw until she is ready to try again.

Skied on a Saturday, and mostly skied Vernon. I actually learned to ski here in the mid-1970's, and this was my first trip back since the mid-1990's. It's exactly the same: inconsistent conditions (crappy grooming, ice on most trails, sand/cement-like snow on others), crowds, too many out of control skiers/boarders for the icy conditions, and lots of smokers. Way more people than I'd expect did not wear a helmet. The main lift on Vernon peak (Cabriolet) is a detachable "bucket". Prior to loading, skis/boards are removed and you take them with you into the bucket with 7 others. It's crowded and annoying but gets you to the summit quickly. To avoid the crowds on the Cabriolet, head to the Triple chair. It takes longer, but I didn't run into any lines there. Trails are OK and most people avoid the advanced trails (Zero G, the Straightaways), so those are good to hit to avoid the crowded slopes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lodge at Vernon is new, but you need to pay for a locker ($5, $10, or $20/day) to stow your stuff. Not as many ski racks near the lodge as I'd expect. Parking is a pain, as nothing is really close (unless you cough up $20 for a "preferred" spot). I'd go back, but only after an extended cold snap/snow storm and only midweek.

The snow condtions were fine during the day hours, but once night hit, it was like skiing on pure ice. It was not safe. People kept wiping out. As for crowds, it wasn't bad at all for a Friday night. The one lift they have is a standing up lift, where even skier's have to take off their ski's. That got annoying but the lines moved quickly. I would go again but probably leave before nightfall to avoid the ice.

Definitely not the mountain I prefer. It's way too crowded especially after the snow storm. But if you must go to Mt Creek, you should definitely buy your tickets in advance so you don't have to wait on that lift ticket line that goes all the way out to the parking lot!

Did a twilight ticket on Friday, 27 Feb. The Liftopia end was excellent with no issues. I've been to Mtn Creek before and know that the terrain is not challenging and pretty spread out. The snow was in decent shape with good cover. The staff were friendly but overworked. None of the staff I spoke with had been out on the hill skiing. This day was to make turns on new equipment. I have been skiing for over 40 years and have never seen trails this crowded. I was run into by an uphill boarder for the first time in over 20 years. It got to the point where I had to keep one eye uphill while I was skiing and making turns to keep from being run over by out of control skiers and boarders. I felt like I was driving in traffic. With the hundreds of people on the slope, I only saw 1 patroller the entire time. There should have been a major patrol presence on the slopes. I would not recommend this hill for families with small children. Very high risk of collision. Do not go to Mtn Creek on weekends or holidays. It will probably be decent for a mid week work out.

We just skied for two days at Mountain Creek. I would not go back. It's literally overrun by out of control teenage snowboarders, three of whom crashed into my son, who is a 9 year old intermediate skier. Also, many slopes were super icy.

Don't believe the hype, Mountain Creek is fantastic as long as you come in with reasonable expectations. It's not Vail, but it has 1,000 vertical and a lot of trails to choose from. If you ski/board with imagination - taking the hits on the side, blasting down the black diamonds, and enjoying the incredible views, you'll have a blast. And it's 47 miles from the Lincoln Tunel. Highly recommend the food at Schuesse, the bar in the upstairs of the lodge, as well as the bbq joint at South. There are some drawbacks at the Creek... it's true that customer service is pretty bad. I hear horrors about the rental program, and lift lines can be an issue on Sat. afternoons. But make up for it by taking some speed runs at night - when it's always empty - or sneaking under the ropes and hitting some of the bike trails in natural snow. Have a good attitude and Mountain Creek will overdeliver.

Unfortunately, experienced a bad accident on the second run of the day. Was taken out on the bunny hill by an out of control snowboarder, suffered a concussion and have been out of work the entire week. I understand we all ski at our own risk, but don't understand the hill not offering any kind of replacement tickets or rentals. This accident ended the day for six of us who all paid for the entire day, plus three rentals. I don't understand why any kind of reimbursement could not be offered. Thanks to the Liftopia deal the wallet wasn't crushed.

For this time of the year, the granular ice wasn't too bad! There were barely any patches of ice and it wasn't too crowded.........until 12pm hit. Then what felt like 1000 people came onto the mountain. It didn't really affect the riding until you hit a major intersection in the trails. But if you're a little more advanced, you can either play in the park or the harder trails and be fine. All in all, a positive experience at a place notorious for bad experiences.

My two teenage sons loved Mountain Creek. It was our first time there. Well worth the drive. The lines for the ski lifts were short, and the snowboarding was excellent. I liked that the Terrain Park (with the advanced jumps and grinds, etc.), was on the other side of the mountain. No annoying teens to deal with. I hung out in the lodge. Very comfy. There is a great spot upstairs to the right, with a fireplace and great couches. I found the food a bit overpriced, but well worth the convenience. Bring snacks if you can. The staff was friendly and the place is clean and well organized. We'll definitely be going back again.

Went on Saturday, Feb 16th and surprisingly there were hardly any lines. Key is to get away from the main lift/gondola and get to the lifts that take you to the other peaks because there was truly no wait at these lifts. Also, don't expect long or killer runs - Mountain Creek's black diamonds are really like blue intermediates in upstate NY or Vermont.

Went to the mountain right after the snow storm on Saturday, February 9. The slope was not trimmed at all, but, at least, it were not many people on the slope that day. However, the following day, on Sunday, the slope was not trimmed again. Crowded base, 30 minutes waiting time to get on the lift, and, as a result, firm and icy terrain. It was unpleasant skiing. We went down along the improvised moguls only two times and left for home. Horrible experience. Never again!

Went on a Monday and it was fairly empty. The main lift was down for several hours. Parked at Vernon and boarded to South Side. It started raining which sucked but can't control that. Stayed and boarded for a few hours till very soaked and cold. We were ready to leave and it turns out the shuttle isn't offered on certain days. That was pretty poor to me. We had to leave the girls and take the 30 minute trip to Vernon to get to our cars. We weren't alone there about 20 people waiting for the shuttle that wasnt in operation. It was a horrible freezing and wet trip to the car. That was enough to make me think twice of going to Mountain Creek again.

Try renting equipment somewhere else if you want to save time. There are decent rental stores on the way there. The cafeteria offers good food but if you can spare some extra bucks try the Hawks Nest. Reservation is a must and the food is excellent! The staffs' services are great too. Try having dessert and coffee outside the deck by the round fireplace afterwards. Your wife or girllfriend will be impessed. The slopes are good at best as far as snow quality, length, and choices. But the mountain is plenty good enough for beginner and intemediate skiers. Get there early on weekends and get as many runs you can in the morning to avoid the midafternoon crowd. Night skiing can be more fun if you can stay later. I saved $50 for family of four one day weekend using Liftopia.

Went on Fri. 1/4/13 with my 7 and 9 year old daughters who still had off from school. It was relatively empty which helped create a great time. The advise I'd give to all customers is to make sure that bar code on you lift ticket is printed darkly. Ours were very light and caused all kids of difficulty at the lifts when they tried to scan them. I didn't want to waste time to have them exchanged, but in the long run it wasted our time. The advise I have for Mountain Creek is to re-pitch your bunny slope (Progression Center) in one direction, down hill, not side to side. My children who are learning to snowboard kept sliding towards the magic carpet since that's the way the slope was pitched. This makes learning very difficult. We finally headed to the Sugar Slope and that's when things got fun for them because the slope is perfectly level from side to side.

The parking situation is terrible. It is so far to walk to the lodge with all your equipment and you can't drop off at the lodge-you have to go down to parking! Also, their ski rental requires you watch a video before renting which slows down the amount of people going through the rental lines-kind of like Disney, but once you get to the individual stations, it takes forever and don't think about exchanging anything for a different size because you have to wait in line all over again so they can scan your new equipment. The gondola wasn't working so only one lift was running which leads to only a few runs with tons of people waiting. Make sure the gondola is running or you are screwed. The lodge is gorgeous but there is minimal seating and like a cruise, the people that are in the know grab their tables and leave their stuff so when you come in to eat, there's no seating.

I had a great time at Mountain Creek! My advice would be to get there when it first opens or later in the day. There were a lot of long lines for rentals and tickets around 9-11 in the morning. It was pretty empty at night so that would be a good time to go. Also, everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful. It was my first time there so I had a lot of questions. Ordered tickets online the day before. Got to the mountain a half hour before it opened. Parked close and short walk over main road to guest services. We went with friends that rented skis and ordered them the day before. They had there stuff in hand within 10 mins. If you bring along a non skiing parent have them save some seats in the dining area. Like all ski lodges it gets packed at lunchtime. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Liftopia is completely awesome because the what the mountain was charging for the day pass is absurd. The day we went was pretty empty for a sunday but i believe i can thank the thin coverage for that. Snow wasnt that bad. And i didnt realize but they have a GREAT lodge now! Just in case you bring a few friends that can't ride your level or need a break. Nice little bar upstairs and a cute firepits to chill and drink around outside the north lodge. IF YOU ARE A NOOB - watch out! the bunny hill at north peak has drastically been reduced. Half of it is set up for the kids and the other half you have to share with grown ups and their instructors. Which becomes a bit challenging. So be careful if you do make your way up the lift.

It is close and convenient. I did not expect a 5 star ski resort so I was not disappointed.

I enjoyed my time at Mountain Creek. I am a beginner skier. It would be a lot more comfortable if the snowboarders, who go down really fast, would not go down the beginner slopes. They were scary.

You have to find a way to entertain yourself if you are advanced. Whether you dance while skiing or do jump (I did both) you have to occupy yourself on this intermediate resort. .P.S. The waffles on the top of the mountain are good.

If you're an intermediate or above, you'll get bored REAL quick. I take my daughter who is 6 and she loves it, so we have a good time. However the mountain gets CROWDED quickly and the trails get congested in the afternoon when they start selling night passes. She skis for free but when she turns 7, I'll be looking to a mountain with more options to justify the cost. Liftopia certainly makes going there a lot easier.

1. IMPORTANT: Remember to bring your print out and take it to Guest Services which is in on the other side of the road from the actual ski resort. This is definitely confusing for 1st timers to Mountain Creek like me. 2. Liftopia was great. Don't know why more people don't do this. 3. The day we went, the conditions were pretty icy and it was the day of the Superbowl. Not packed but still had to ride around people on the slopes. 4. The parking situation is not good. Walking back to my car in my boots after snowboarding all day was not fun; it was late enough in the day that the shuttle service had stopped.

great deal from liftopia plus its a major ski resort closest to the city. Get your park passes online before going to the slopes it will save you some time. There is a long line getting the park pass just to get to the south peak. You will be asked 6 common sense questions. Answer it the best you can. Because of its proximity to urban areas Mountain Creek can be crowded. South peak is awesome cant wait for the trail going back to the North open. its a pain riding the shuttle

Not sure gown missed it but this mountain is great for anyone who rides terai. Parks there is a whole peak that is devoted to terrain park. I am still kind of new to boarding so it was also easy to avoid the terrain parks. Only downside I saw to this mountain was the lack of diamonds without moguls that was a bit annoying butthe blue trails were great. I also am not a fan of the gondola style lift I found my legs go tired quicker bc of the lack of rest you get from a classic chair. Overall I recommend this place to everyone it was a blast.

The mountain is solid enough. I went on a weekday morning so crowds were not a problem, but I hear weekends can be a mess. The mountain is good for a beginner or intermediate but not beyond. The black diamonds would be blues on any mountain in Vermont or Upstate NY. There are two lifts up the main mountain, a gondola that is fast but you have to stand, and a triple chair that is beyond slow. I never hit the South Peak so I can't speak for the terrain parks.

Mountain Creek is a small mountain which is perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers, if your expecting anything else you will be sorely disappointed. I skied this mountain a long time ago when I first starting skiing and it was perfect, short runs and short lines, however now the lines are a bit longer now. My tip is when it gets crowded in the north end move to Granite, very little lines. If you go to the south end be prepared to take a bus back to the north end since currently there is not trail or lift to get you back to the north end.

The staff was nice enough, and I had no problems at Customer Service getting my lift ticket. Be prepared to walk a piece from your car to the mountain; they really should get a shuttle system. It had snowed the night before, so conditions on the mountain (ahem) were great until about noon when it got really crowded. If you don't mind waiting in long lines and taking off your skis each time you go up the mountain (standing gondola is your only option)this is the place for you. It's not Colorado, but it's good enough.

It is a small mountain, gets crowded on weekends and the runs are short. It is good to go only if you get discount lift tickets. We got good deal on for last Tuesday. They have 9am-9pm skiing. The mountain is small and easy. I usually go on blue trails when skiing in Vermont, at Mountain Creek I went on black diamond. There was one annoying thing though - the food court was all covered with notes that only food purchased from their cafeteria could be consumed there. First provide healthy organic choices, only then post such requirements.

Preface: Our day of skiing, a Monday with good conditions, was enjoyable enough. That said, I could go on and on about how Mountain Creek falls down every step of the way. Instead, I'll focus on one serious problem - their main lift. Gondolas at other ski areas are used to comfortably transport skiers and riders up and down the mountain at high speed while shielded from the elements. The Cabriolet, rather, offers no protection from the elements; it has no seats, providing no rest; it requires passengers to remove their equipment, hold it for the duration of the ride, and try to navigate onto and away from the lift areas without falling. Compared to other gondolas, with indoor loading and unloading areas, boarding and disembarking the Cabriolet is downright dangerous. Passengers quickly tire of the constant removal of equipment; the time required to ride the lift and ski back down to the loading area takes only about five minutes. Don't bet on using other lifts, as there is only one other full-length lift open on weekdays - the Granite Peak Quad - which serves limited terrain.

I went January 21st and it was the morning when it just has a couple inches of fresh powder. It was really nice and did not get crowded until late afternoon. Obtaining the tickets from Guest Services was quick and easy. I didn't have to wait in line when I went.

Friday was amazing at Mountain Creek. Quick tip if you purchase ticket on Liftopia you have to pickup your ticket at guest services before you cross over the bridge. The ticket center cannot print it and you'll have to walk back over the bridge to get it. Also the pizza there is piss poor. Other than that great day!

And like any otherThe best time to learn how to snowboard is when the day is like it was on Wednesday January 12. Fresh powder snow :) A weekday when its not crazy packed like it was this Sunday January 16th. MT Creek is close to home and not expensive! Works even better when you purchase tickets on liftopia in advance! Like any other place.. if you need to rent gear..get there as early as possible! :)

Buy a Liftopia ticket and ski 9a - 2p on a weekday and it is worth it for what it is; mediocre skiing on a tiny bump to stay in shape for trips to better mountains. Come after 2p or on a weekend and plan 45 min in each lift line, people cutting each other off and fighting in line, 5 min on the lift, 2 min top to bottom - unless cut off by a snowboarder - and repeat. Don't let the Intrawest name fool you. It's New Jersey, not the Rockies...

Get there EARLY! I've been skiing this mountain for 40 years because it is so close to home. If you get there at 8, the ticket lines are not bad and Gondola is not super crowded yet. Take 2 runs and head over to Granite. Once it crowds up there, come back to North and stay left of the Gondola and ski down to triple chair. Eat lunch at 11:30. Did I mention get there Early?

Strangest mountain ever. No lodge at Vernon, just very large circus-like tents (windows, doors and all). Went on a Thursday and was surprised that it was as crowded as it was. Only one major lift was operating (a stand up open gondola for 7????). As others have said, runs are short, not very challenging. Getting liftopia tickets at guest services is a clunky process. If you get there before the lifts open, they may not have your information.

Good complex, nice appartments right next to the slopes makes it easy to head out for a couple of hours, take a break and then go back out. Saturday conditions were good, too many people though and dangerous to be a beginner. Thought that i was going to take out a snowboarder a couple of times, they were sitting everywhere i didnt want them to be.

Getting discounted ticket on Liftopia was great - had no problems - got my carload to drop me off at Guest Services. I got my lift ticket while they parked and we met at the lift - worked out great. Was there on New Years Day and was it HOT out - felt like spring conditions. Kept peeling off the layers. Even saw a cuple in shorts! the lines were not long at all - we got there real early - 8:30 I was getting my lift ticket and rentals and there was NO wait. If the line started to back up at the lift just hit the singles line and no wait at all and never had to go up alone - always at least one other from my party got on with me. When we heard there was no way back from South peak except for the shuttle we just made those the last few runs of the day and then the shuttle dropped us back at our car, which was nice. My biggest tip is teach them young not to sit in the middle of the trail if they fall - to get up right away and move to the side and wait for thier friends - so many kids had no idea the etiquete of the mountain and looked at you like you were crazy when you tried to explain it to them. It could save a life!

Was there at the beginning of a holiday weekend(12/30) to discover that the entirety of the tri-state area was joining me. Way too many people. They even ran out of rentals, leaving my friend stranded at the bar all day. By midday, they had closed off the path to south peak, forcing my group to take the shuttle. Also, gondola broke down for about 20 minutes at one point. Aside from all that, trails were solid.

As there yesterday and waited in line to get my lift ticket for over 40 minutes. It W's especially annoying because we waited around 10 minutes at the ticketing Booth After purchasing the tickets online. The slopes were great albeit a couple of icy patches

Went XMas Day and the only lift open was the standing Gondola. You're skiing all day and standing on every trip to the summit. I woke the following day with my knee swollen up like a balloon from the stress and my calves ached. Even my 11yr old daughter complained about her calves aching. I never appreciated sitting on a chair lift more than I have this past trip. From that experience combined with the awkward small cafeteria/changing area this will not be my local mountain of choice to ski at.

A wee bit icy. After the mini blizzard we had in NJ though Im sure there will be fresh powder soon. There wasnt many lifts open yet either, a bit weird but I also went on Christmas so maybe lack of attendants.

You don't need to pick up lift tix at Guest Services. They are incredibly slow and on Xmas day it was an awful experience. The mountain has good terrain for newer skiers. If you go to the South Peak, the only way back is via a shuttle.

The mountain is only 25 minutes away from my house, so I ski almost every day. I love going there with friends. On December 18, 2010, I put my 2 and 1/2 year old son for the first time on skis there. I hope he loves it as much as I do.

I went in the beginning of the season and it wasnt the best trip in my opinion. Am spoiled by mountains i visit in the winter, such as Gore, Whiteface, ect. The trails were interesting, the blues that were open were total ice rocks. I think there was only about 6 trails open ad only 3 of them had good snow. There was snowmaking everywhere. I will return when it gets later in the season to see how it improves
