The Camden Snow Bowl is a small municipally owned ski area located in Camden Maine. The Snow Bowl is the only ski area in the United States where you can get breath taking views of the Ocean from the summit. There are 15 trails and glades with a vertical drop of just under 1000 feet.
The Snow Bowl is a... very family friendly and affordable ski area. The mountain has one chairlift, two T bars and a beginner handle tow lift. There is a full service lodge with a dining facility, rental shop and ski shop. There is a fully certified Ski and Snowboard school and a very large Terrain Park with over 25 elements.
The Camden Snow Bowl is also home to the Camden Parks and Recreation department – other activities offered in the winter are a 4.5km Nordic trail, snowshoe trails, a tubing hill and the only classic wooden toboggan chute in New England (Home of the U.S. National Toboggan Championships). In the summer the mountain offers hiking trails, mountain bike trails and canoeing and kayaking. Read more
