Lost Valley is a very small resort in Auburn, Maine (US). Covering 45 acres of ski area, Lost Valley has 3 lifts (1 tow, 2 chairlifts). The mountain does not cover a lot of vertical (only 470 ft) and has a low base at 25 ft above sea level. There is a ski school for children and adults, with different... levels and expertise. Most of the mountain is intermediate and easy trails, though there are some difficult areas. Ski and snowboard rentals are available, as well as meals and a relaxing lodge. Happy Mom Beginner Snowboarder
Great place to bring the family to, no annoying crowds, plenty of room and really friendly people! Not a ton in the way of # of trails but the ones they have are just fine and will keep you entertained for most of the day.
