Hermon Mountain is located in Maine (US), near Orono and Newport. Most of the runs are easy to intermediate, and the resort seems to think there are many double black diamond runs, which seems to be a bit overstating. You will find different types of terrain, but most of it is steeper at the top and flattens as you approach... the bottom. Most of their trails are straight down the mountain with no curves, and the easiest runs run perpendicular to the slope. Hermon Mountain has a nice tubing park (with specially designed tubes) and half pipe, while offering both ski and snowboard rentals and school. It also offers night skiing opportunities.
