Reviews & Tips (1)
Fabulous area.
I skied three days over Presidents' Day weekend. and lucked into absolutely unreal ski conditions with about 6" of new snow each day.
The runs are meticulously maintained and many of the extremely steep runs are groomed.
It was quite a lot of fun skiing on fresh powder that was on top of corduroy. If that isn't hero snow, nothing is!
One caveat, conditions at the top can be somewhat windy and limited in visiblility, but the mountain is big enough that you should be able to find clear areas to enjoy especially on the back side which is serviced by a 6-pak detachable. A face mask isn't a bad thing to have for those days.
A vast majority of the mountain is intermediate and beginner skiing.
it's quite a hike if you decide to climb up to the lodge, so if you drive up, walk across the parking lot and ski down the beginners' hill to Musical Chairs Lift which will take you to the Lodge/ Ticket area.No ticket required for that.
I will be back!
