Silver Mountain Reviews & Tips (13)

It's good skiing on a snowy day. Luckily, we hit it on a Saturday, mid-blizzard. Only bad thing, it closes so early, and you really don't get a long time to ski (9 am - 3:30 pm during prime season isn't that great). I'd go back just for the resort's hotel and waterpark, though, which again, can gouge you and close early (waterpark and hot tubs), so make sure you take this trip at a time you're in the mood to splurge and don't care about not getting your money's worth.

Good ski area, but hit it on a bad day. Wouldn't go until they receive a significant amount of new snow

The people who worked the lifts were wonderful! 2015 has been a tough year with the low snow pack, but they were cheerful and safety oriented. The food service at Moguls bar, however, was pretty bad.

Great Mountain - Great Skiing - Great Accommodations!! Our group was very diverse, so there was great skiing for everyone without us having to separate too much. Liftopia was an amazing deal. I would recommend everyone going through your company. We will definitley go back!!

Great terrain on the mountain, lovely powder stashes and the gondola ride is incredibly scenic. You get a great view of Kellogg ID.

Been going here for more than 30 years. My favorite area is Chair 4 and the Wardner Peak and Meadow Bowl area, which takes a 15-20 minute hike to get to, or skiers can take a traverse to get there but it is too flat and narrow for boarders. The terrain back there is awesome and worth the hike! There is also some great tree riding skiers right off Chair 4 all the way down to the bottom of Chair 4 (skip the midway lift and go all the way to the bottom, especially if there is fresh snow).

It's a good mountain with some challenging terrain for all levels. For all you get, it's a bargain, especially if you get tickets on liftopia! Easy to get to.I hear the water park is nice too. Just could never justify the price.

This is one of the best resorts & mountain below the radar. The lifties are friendly, the terain offers something for every level and the tickets are budget concious. This is the most accessible resort I know, located right off I-90 in Kellogg, Idaho. You leave your car at the parking lot in Kellogg and ride up in the world's longest gondola up to the mountain. Go ski or board Silver Mountain, you will not regret it!

I'm a second-year skiier and my boyfriend is advanced - lots of beginner runs with advanced runs right off them. Good place for families to have some fun! Our girls had a great time!
