Liftopia is the way to go. Just got back from 7 days of skiing Sun Valley. I gave the ticket agent the number she needed from the liftopia email on my iphone and my Id. Presto, I had my lift ticket. I did this three times and never a problem. Sun Valley's amenities are awesome. I never had to buy a drink with lunch as they have free water stations everywhere. Great place with sweet views. I'm in my mid forties and felt like a kid here, as there were a lot of AARP members. Met one guy who is 84 and skies 100 days every year. Something to look forward to. The slopes were empty with no lift lines even on the weekends. Skied every run. You can ski bumps from the top to almost the bottom. Sun Valley is worth the drive from Boise.

Hit Sun Valley this weekend with some buddies and we all utilized the Liftopia. Great way to go. But, I didn't print off the reservation so it tool me a bit longer as i had to go into the lodge and show my ID so they could look it up on the internet. So, make sure you print off your slip and you are good to go...takes about the same amount of time to get your ticket as if you were paying via debit...just cheaper. Will be using this many more times in the future.

Great deal with Liftopia , otherwise 89USD for a ticket is expensive. Great skiing and lots of off piste but with grass and rocks showing, one needed to pick your way down ! They do need more snow but we never saw a lift line line, even at the weekend ! Every one was very friendly ! Roundhouse is a must for lunch or dinner.

Just returned from a three day trip to Sun Valley. Due to their extensive snowmaking capability we enjoyed very good snow conditions on most of the runs. Due to the drought conditions current affecting the western United States, I doubt this would be the case at virtually any other western ski resort at this point in the 2011/2012 season. One qualification: if you are a skier and enjoy bumps, your options will be limited as most of the runs serviced by snowmaking equipment are regularly groomed. Love the resort and the town and the Liftopia discount is great.

Good Tip-
Bought 3 of 5 ticket on Thursday for starting on Friday. Liftopia prices went up on Saturday. I didn't plan on skiing until Sunday so I thought I would then need to ski 3 straight days. AT THE LIFT THEY TOLD ME THE 3 of 5 STARTS THE FIRST DAY IT IS SCANNED AT THE LIFT. Good to know when the prices are higher when you plan to ski but the prices are less before that time.

As always, this is the best mountain I've ever been on, but can be expensive with the old money mentality. Liftopia was great and makes it affordable as well as quick and easy.

Skiing was challenging but terrific. Beginners might feel overwhelmed at first, as did a few of the children with us, but for anyone who is an intermediate or expert skier, this is the best place ever -- never any crowds when we went for a week in late March. Five people in my group used Liftopia with no problems getting their 3-of-4 days tickets. For me, there was some kind of glitch. Like everyone else, I'd ordered 3 days out of 4, was told that because of the way Liftopia processed this sale I would need to show up each of my three days to get a new ticket for that day (rather than receiving one ticket that covered three days of skiing, as everyone else in my group received). On my third day, I was told their computer showed I'd already used up all three days, which was false and I was able to prove it with receipts. The woman at the counter wouldn't give my ticket, so I had to talk to a manager who in turn had to talk to HIS manager, showing him my receipts, and finally I was given my ticket (but I was told it was a "gift" -- though I'd paid for it!) He was polite, however, as were all the staff at Sun Valley without exception.

Lot's of old money skiing, but slopes generally empty.
Awesome nordic trails.
Liftopia tickets redeemed w/o problems.

Excellent week, highlighted by the 2+ feet of snow Monday. Great mountain - steep & long runs, world-class bowls and short lift lines. Liftopia worked great. In fact, I ski all over the west but have never been to SV, but the Liftopia savings made me give it a shot, and I'm sold. I'll definitely be back!!

Sun Valley was awesome the second day we got 25 inches of snow it was crazy they didnt open the lifts till 10:30 that sucked but for our safety. Lift lines were small but monday we found out quick that spring break started up with lift lines at river run all the way to the bridge!! Liftopia was great Peace out!

Liftopia was great, tickets were in a convenient location. The mountain was tough but I think beginners could still enjoy themselves especially at Seattle Ridge. Stay at Krystal Villa and you can walk to the lodge.

This is a hard mountain for your beginner friends. There really is not much actual beginner terrain.
For the hard core, it's a blast. And the gondola makes it easy to meet the beginners for lunch at the Round House without stressing them.

Got 2 3 of 4 Day Liftopia tickets, redeemed at the River Run Lodge, with IDs as instructed. No problems, the ticket agent was happy to accept the printed receipt. Saved $80. Mar 12-14: 2 fabulous spring days and 4-8" new snow the 3rd for early-morning freshies. Dined at Ketchum Grill, Vintage, and one lunch at the Round House where Tim the accordian player adds a great Bavarian flair. Got sandwiches for the road at Perry's when leaving (sadly as it was snowing hard).

Liftopia, awesome way to save money on lift tickets. Will most definitely use them for my ski vacations. Very convenient for ticket pick up for one of my favorite places to ski.
