Reviews & Tips (5)
I skied at Tamarack the year they opened (2005 ?) and the following year. Thought I had heard that they were bankrupt and someone had repossessed the lifts. Glad to hear they are still running. I'll have to plan a trip next season.
Nothing beats Utah (where I live), but Tamarak is great.mack

One of the best kept secrets in the US. Zero lift lines, unbelievable terrain. Great powder, fresh tracks. Definitely worth the extra 20 minute drive from Brundage. I'll be back for many years!

Skied Tamarack on SUNDAY 2/12. Pulled up in parking lot at 10 till 9:00 to find about 5-6 other cars....on a Sunday!! NEVER waited all day for a lift, not even 1 minute!! Snow conditions were the best I had seen in Idaho for 4 days, (also skied Bogus & Sun Valley). Runs have lots of character with dips & turns, rolls & bumps! Lots of fun cruising & enough steeps off of the 2 ridge lines. The 2 quads serve up all you need for a solid day of skiing with 2800 vertical feat. I hope this place can make a go of it & reach their full planned acreage when $ allows, it has GREAT potential! We skied for less than 6 hours, got in 32K vertical on a sunny day with great snow for $39!!!!! Are you kidding me!!!!! I WILL BE BACK!

Make first tracks! It is awesome! Help keep this place open, it is well worth it! Wonderful terrain and great snow! No lift lines! I'm a skier and love runs and powder, and the snowboarding teens in the family love the terrain, the park and half pipe! Try it, you will be hooked!
