Having second thoughts about my choice to ski at Crested Butte, seems like everyone else offers deals on lift tickets!

Hey CB... You might wanna start to think about putting some deals out there. You have no snow on the mountain!

It's true...I'm not sure why CB decided to up their prices and its a lot, but this mountain is a hidden gem in the US. That's the way it should stay though...a small, quaint mountain village with lots of tough terrain (closed right now, but when it is...oh man!). Right now, International is my favorite open run. You can really fly down that thing, just look out for ski patrol controlling the idiots who think they can handle steep pitches but end up on their butts the whole way down.

I love to ski Board CB, but have to agree with previous comment about pricing....they really stick it to you....great town, but greedy Management group that owns the resort....

This place is a great place to ski, but they have really gone up on their prices for lift tickets, especially over the holidays, they damn near double the price and screw their customers and could care less what anybody thinks about it.

My favorite run was Prospector. Great run for blue/intermediate with few people. The greens and blues are truly, if not a little conservative, marked so you don't worry about getting in over your head. Fun mountain with great people!

My son is an extreme skier. I enjoyed the blacks, especially international. CB great for all around skiing, but especially for extreme skiers. The busses are great and free to get you to the ski area from the condos. Check home away to get deals at the condos. I love CB town. Enjoyed the food at the Sherpa cafe - excellent at a very reasonable price.

This place is place has to be almost thee greatest place to go snowboarding in Colorado when there is fresh powder! Crested Butte has the mountain town and also the regular town. It's a nice place, secluded unlike Vail. The Hotel's on the mountain are really nice and they are also cheap. It's not as far as Telluride, but just as good! There's also snowmobling right in the town!
