The 30% advanced... and expert terrain is located close to the ski resort boundary, along as a couple runs off of Tenderfoot. Two basic terrain parks are on the left side of the mountain at the base of the mountain. The Inn at Wildewood is the only slope-side lodging. Reviews & Tips (1)
Powderhorn is a laid back Colorado ski area. Never as crowded or hyped up as the state's Mega-Resorts. The powder can last for days after a storm and if you can ski advanced terrain, you'll very likely have it pretty much to yourself. I live in Breckenridge but get over there as much as I can. Beautiful views off the side of the Grand Mesa too!
