Snowmass Reviews & Tips (2)

The Big Burn is a square mile of distance with 2000' descent tree glades right in the heart of the area. Truly a great mountain where avoiding groomed terrain is easy. I love skiing trees.

Wear bright colors to help avoid collisions as there are so many unmarked intersecting runs and there is virtually no mountain saftey people patroling for out of control skies. Ski patrol does of fine job of hauling people off the mountain but is not allowed to do high speed chases of reckless guests and and they remain in ski patrol huts until accidents happen.
