Winter Park is another gem in the skiing-giant Intrawest’s crown. Spreading across three peaks and 3,078 acres, Winter Park, and its sister mountain, Mary Jane, are located only 90 minutes from Denver in the center of Colorado’s ski country. Winter Park is a destination resort not to be missed offering terrain variety, big mountain experience, and an awesome Village to... explore. The resort receives an annual average of 336 inches of snowfall a season and provides skiers and boarders with classic Colorado powder, some of the best moguls around, backcountry access, and over 3,000 feet of vertical!
Winter Park Resort is spread over three interconnected mountains: Winter Park, Mary Jane, and Vasquez Ridge. Mary Jane, a local favorite, has a separate base area and is best known for moguls and local flavor. It also offers a surplus of tree-skiing, Parsenn Bowl, and hidden huts. Though contrary to popular belief, it is not all about the moguls and advanced trails, Mary Jane’s backside offers long intermediate groomers and beautiful access alongside the national forest. Mary Jane Trail, a wide-open groomer off of the Super Gauge Express is the perfect run from top to bottom. Mary Jane also hides free slope side parking, so park here and hop on the free bus to the base village at Winter Park.
Vasquez Ridge and Winter Park Mountain offer plenty of intermediate terrain, groomers, terrain parks and the Winter Park half pipe. Best powder stashes are on Outrigger and Retta’s Run while best groomer/mogul half and half trail is often Bradley’s Bash and Balch trails. Dip over to the Mary Jane off the Outhouse Trees for a real wild ride. Winter Park’s two other sections, Parsenn Bowl and Vasquez Cirque offer variety to traditional ski terrain. Parsenn Bowl is a true blue with long open groomers and stunning views of the Continental Divide while the Cirque is accessed by backcountry gates and some of the mountain’s most challenging terrain. Either as an intermediate skier or expert skier you are offered terrain at the very top of the Continental Divide topping 12,000 feet elevation.
In the last few years at Winter Park, there have been several mountain upgrades, the addition of four new lifts, and completion of a base village. The village has many amenities with plenty of lodging like the ski in/ski out Zephyr Lodge or deluxe condos at Frasers Crossing/Founders Pointe, dining at one of the several restaurants, retail shops and an ice skating rink. Visit Winter Park for all the reasons you want a great ski vacation! Read more

Spring skiing was definitely better than I thought this year since it was a "warmer winter season than normal". I love spring skiing, and the hill was a little crusty (right after grooming) at the 10am opening, but after the first crust layer wore off, it was awesome until about 3pm when it got a little slushy. But that's the price when you're skiing and it's a balmy 55-60 F. Our family of 4 will be back!

The Winter Park website estimates of base depths was very misleading. The summit depth was listed as 49", the bowl looked like the "dark side of the moon" under the lift. This is my sixth season, I love Winter Park but this was not a good year for them this late in the year. The groomers did a great job with what they had to work with. I always ski 5-6 days but left after 4 this year, too warm & "wet". Hoping for a better "2013", I'll be bringing my 4 & 5 yr old grandsons for their first ski trip.

During spring skiing weather, wait until after 10am to ski the mountain, as conditions were icy prior to that. The top of the Panormic lift is spectacular- a must see!

Kids ski school was incredible - Highly recommended to anyone and everyone. Two days in School and my 5 year old was amazing on the slopes - We skied all day together on day 3...AMAZING!~ We have been going to WP since 2000 and we will be back in 2013! We skied Mary Jane all afternoon yesterday and she DID NOT disappoint - LOVE THIS PLACE!

I had such a great experience as a first timer in the snow. I couldn't ask for anything better! I suggest you get a full day lesson the instructors are amazing. They are so helpful and patient for slow learners. Honestly the village itself has so much to offer. Definitely get those fresh cookies at the village bakery. The best aspect of this whole trip was how friendly and attentive the people were at Winter Park, it made my trip even more enjoyable. Thank you Winter Park!

Use the little wagons for kids and ski equipment. Best amenity since sliced bread! Ski school for kids is very well organized and staff is great!

I picked up my tickets at the Mary Jane ticket office and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. I walked up and gave the receptionist my name and she quickly issued my tickets. Painless.

save a lot of steps, use the skier drop off point and unload gear, then walk back in tennis shoes, locker rental is only $1.50, well worth the comfort.
got great snow, kinnikkinnik is a great tree run loved the mountain, lots of history also

Hey ya, Hows come every body I met out der is actually from back here in Wisconsin or Minnesoda. Maybe nobody likes the weather here but likes it pretty good out in Colorado. I do admit that the hills are better in Winter Park than we get back here in the midwest. That dry air and sun in Colorado too, we could use some of that, you betchya we could.

It was geat! It has been several years since I have been to Winterpark to ski. We had a great experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful from the beginning with me calling in with questions before our arrival all the way to the end with getting us all geared up.

Your staff is great. My only negative--It is too far from bus drop offs to lifts. The Village Cabriolet helps but still a long walk to lifts.
written Dec 18 2011 - 02:10 PM
My entire trip was an awesome experience. If you go in December, you're chancing the quality of snow on the mountain. It's the beginning of Winter so most of the trails were closed. All in all, a fabulous time and excellent staff at Winter Park Village Rentals.

For my first time skiing it was awesome! Make sure if you are getting lessons to get Buck! He was patient and very very helpful. :) Everyone on staff was pleasant. Thanks for a great vacation WP!
Since I'm a beginner I don't know a whole lot about the quality of the lifts and runs. But I can tell you it was a blas! I will def be going back! Just make sure, beginners, if you are still getting into skiing don't go to the very top of the mountain unless you want to be rescued like I had to be. :) Thanks again ski patrol! ;) lol

My wife and I went skiing on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised with the amount of runs Winter Park already had opened (6 if I recall correctly). The snow was icy in the heavily traveled areas and there were some branches coming up through the snow but overall it was not bad considering they've only had 20 inches of snow this season. I'm excited for when the rest of the mountain opens...Mary Jane is the best!

WP is awesome for family spring skiing. Ski school for the kids was great and plenty of runs for them and us parents to enjoy together. Liftopia discounts were great, especially for ski school. Could not believe the great weather for spring skiing, only way to go. Just make sure to wear sunscreen as we got torched the first day.
written Apr 25 2011 - 07:49 AM
Excellent, well managed and well run area with lots of great runs in all classes and very friendly staff. For late April, the snow was as good as mid-Febuary, and the Liftopia rate/service was super. Only way to fly.

I'm in the hospitality business and have been skiing for 43 years. Winter Park has it all --the best customer service of any resort I've visited and a big mountain experience with something for everyone.
written Apr 18 2011 - 01:09 PM
Everyone who works at the resort -- from the lifties on the mountain, to the retail store salespeople, to the bus drivers, to the hotel staff -- isincredibly friendly, helpful and nice. It was noticeable. What a great place!

My son and I skiied with excellent conditions the last weekend in March. Had a great time on the Nastar course until taking a bad fall on the 'last' run of the day. Tore my ACL, MCL, meniscus, and have an impaction fracture, but the slopes, Ski Patrol, Clinic, and Liftopia were great. Hope to be back again next year!
written Apr 12 2011 - 02:31 AM
Great snow conditions. Backside ("Fourche") trails and the peak area frontside runs in the open, down to the tree areas made for a lot of good skiing and fun. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Not too crowded at this point in the season. Liftopia made the advanced ticketing and discount pricing very easy -- many thanks.

Liftopia was smooth sailing. Winter Park was great for my husband and I; we are novice boarders, so there were plenty of runs for us. The entire staff (rental, reception, lift operators, bartenders, shop workers) were exceptionally friendly and awesome. I can't give the people enough praise- no egos, attitude, or arrogance from anyone.
written Apr 09 2011 - 09:26 PM
Good time, good slopes. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, had the slopes pretty much to myself. Would go back again for the price offered.

My son and I spent most of the second day at Eagle's Wind. Best tree skiing of any place we've been in CO, MT, UT. But, Whistler is still the best!
written Mar 28 2011 - 08:23 PM
WP was great last week. The runs off the Panoramic Express are some of the best as well as all the glade skiing. We had snow 3 of 4 days which made the morning skiing some of the best ever.
written Mar 28 2011 - 07:46 AM
Love WP/Mary Jane! I wasn't sure about all of the new businesses in the Winter Park Village, but the mountain still felt the same. Be careful on a board with traverses off of Olympia and Pioneer Express lifts at Winter Park. It can take getting stuck once to figure out Olympia, I don't ever go over to Pioneer Express on a board because of the trek at the bottom.
Not an issue at Mary Jane!
We were there for Spring break and I was amazed at how short the lift lines were.
written Mar 26 2011 - 03:12 PM
Use Liftopia...great prices easy to use.
Use Winter Park's FREE parking for sure...quick and easy. Fun "ride" up for the kids. Their "bus" is actually mini open gondola cars. Very convenient.

Rocky Mountain Chalet in Fraser; clean, safe, hospitable staff, variety of clients from around the world with interesting stories. Highly recommended.

Great time at Winter Park! Even though the forecast was for temps in the low to mid 40's, we received 7 inches of snow and had beautiful ski days. One thing to watch for in Winter Park is the lack of trail signs - they are sparser than in other parks. We never had any trouble - IE, never ended up on a terrible slope due to lack of notice - but just a note for the general public. It actually made it fun - adventuring through the slopes, learning the trails first-hand! We love Winter Park, one of our most favorite resorts in Colorado. Will return again and again!

Pack Lunches and take out when you're ready to stop for lunch, but have someone come save a table around 11:15 otherwise good luck with finding a place to sit.
Liftopia worked great for us, even just 24hrs ahead, versus WP site which was 48 lead.

My husband and I were in WP for 2 days, skiing for 1 day. We stayed (and ate) at Gastaus Eichler, which was awesome. My husband took a lesson from an incredibly patient instructor-- I'm glad that they did not push him too fast and were willing to adjust the lesson to work for him.
There are plenty of places to ski for every level-- no need to go down the mountain the same way twice! I would have liked for maps to be posted in more places. Be sure to pick one up at the base of the mountain. Only a couple of lifts have maps posted.
Enjoy!

Just spent Spring Break at Winter Park. The discount via liftopia sure helped. We ski with our two teenagers, one loves jumps and the other bumps. Winter Park has all this and more. To save money, we pack a lunch to eat on the mountain.
written Mar 20 2011 - 12:30 PM
The mountain was great the base was a mess could they possibly make a longer walk from parking or bus we tried all the ways to park inside parking outside parking, bus still along walk to go sking a real pain in the ass. Also how about some benchs around the base. The snow was great plenty to ski but didn't like there system. Also can they give you a brake somewere 8.00 burgers 20.00 parking 97.00 lift they suck the money out of you at every turn and yes I have skied alot of other places. Bottom line probley not ski there again
written Mar 20 2011 - 11:52 AM
Park on Mary Jane side and ski down to lifts. Skip the whole base village mess. Saves a lot of time & hassle. Super gauge express goes right to the top where you can access any run on the mtn.
in response to Jack & Diane comment, you are so-o-o wrong about WP. I dealt with local merchants in shops, restaurants and Safeway and had nothing but polite, helpful response. The only crook was the guy who rented me a crappy condo. Maybe you should look at your own attitude. You get back what you dish out.
written Mar 20 2011 - 08:40 AM
Winter Park was pricier than other ski resorts I have skied at but well worth it. The runs were great and well groomed. With all of the lifts, we never had to wait in line for more than a minute. We had 8-10" of new snow while we were there. Can't wait to go back next year!!!!!
written Mar 19 2011 - 09:03 PM
Great skiing a bunch of great snow, easy ticket pick up. Unfortunately, my wife got ill the week before the trip and was not able to travel /fly. Loss of >$400.00 hurt on the unused ticket. I would like to see a "trip insurance option" offer by Lifopia for such an unforseen situation.
written Mar 18 2011 - 06:50 AM
Liftopia was great and I was able to pick up lift tickets for all 3 days on the first day. Winter Park got 7 inches of fresh snow the first day and it was the best conditions I've ever had boarding. Another great time at Winter Park.
written Mar 17 2011 - 08:48 PM
To redeem Liftopia tickets, go past ticket booths, to staircase upstairs, then to group sales. Shorter lines, know what they are doing.
Be sure to take Panoramic to the summit (if you ski blue or better). What a rush!
written Mar 17 2011 - 04:39 PM
I had a great time with my son todd, liftopia was great, convenient, good equipment, nice to store skis for us, well priced package, snow on mountain was great. all the people were really nice and helpful. can't wait to come again!
written Mar 17 2011 - 01:05 PM
Liftopia worked great with no problems. Winter Park was a great resort with nice runs. didn't enjoyed the amount of time I spend on the lifts. We probably stopped or slowed down on the lifts about 3 times per trip up. It was spring break though so I guess I will blame it on that.
written Mar 17 2011 - 07:06 AM
We loved everything about winter park. The trails were very challenging and long. We cherish the two days spent there.
written Mar 16 2011 - 11:29 AM
Walked right up to the ticket counter (no line) with Liftopia print out and walked back out with tickets in
written Mar 14 2011 - 10:01 PM
GREAT Experience!! We even foolishly bought tickets for the wrong dates (April instead of MArch) and the ticket counter person called and made the exchange. Use Liftopia and enjoy!!
written Mar 13 2011 - 10:54 AM
Liftopia was actually easier to get tickets from than the ticket counter at winter park. every time i went to guest services (where you have to get tickets when buying from liftopia) it was a MUCH shorter line if any than at the regular ticket counter. it was simple and easy. hightly reccomend it. winter park mountain is great, although parking is a nightmare, shuttles are not as available as at other colorado resorts we have been to. advice: plan ahead, get an early start for great skiing.
written Mar 12 2011 - 08:18 AM
prices are too high here and only very slightly better then full price. Buy 1 get 1 with any purchase of 10gals of gas at any Shell station. $59 ticket coupons in payback coupon books. Discount tickets are better price at King Soopers, Kroger stores. there is not deals on this web site to be found so far. I'd love this site and buy everyweek if there was a real deal to be had!!!
written Mar 11 2011 - 02:42 PM
You've read it here before, Liftopia is an exceptionally convenient and well run option. Will definitely use again. WP wonderful skiing experience but could use some improvements in the following areas:improved signage, rework some of the flats between top of runs,"we ran out of grooming maps"...every day?,and the walk up price of $97 seems very difficult to jusitify against what other Summit County venues can offer. Cheeky Monk has an enviable Belgian beer selection, and the best frites, better than those offerred in Brussels! Really, you have to try this place. At discounted lift ticket prices, WP is worth it overall.
written Mar 11 2011 - 11:07 AM
Keep lowering those ticket price deals and I'll see you there more often!!!
Winter Park always rocks!
written Mar 10 2011 - 02:22 PM
Get the liftopia ski lesson and lift ticket deal. Lesson covers all levels of skier. I took the advance mogul lesson and it was great. Really helped me pick my lines better!
Eagle wind lift is the best place to ski at WP. Go early as they stop the lift at 2:30.
written Mar 10 2011 - 08:18 AM
Tree and bump/mogul skiing at its best, but if you like high speed groomed runs WP is not the best place to go. Amazing and friendly resort stuff, but the experience with local businesses was a disappointment. Merchants/employees (actually in 2 occasions the owners) were rude and had the “give us your money tourist” attitude. Well, I will visit WP again - but I will NOT buy anything from local shops/food places. We will buy all the food and drink supplies in Denver, so we will not spend a penny in the local businesses with rude stuff (and save a bundle in the process) - WP = amazing skiing experience but bad local business experience.
written Mar 08 2011 - 03:23 PM
8" of new snow last Friday. Mary Jane was in prime condition. Great day. $80 is still a pricey day for skiing, but it beats the regular price of $97.
written Mar 07 2011 - 08:46 AM
wonderful weather, good times, great deal on tickets, what more can I say
written Mar 06 2011 - 09:31 PM
Liftopia worked perfectly, from online ordering to the great service at the desk at Balcony Lodge. Conditions, service and friendly staff at the lift lines and "question mark" staff was excellent. Winter Park overall was terrific.
written Mar 06 2011 - 07:01 PM
first time user - loved the combo ski and rental - parked in the first lot and used the beer can lift to get to the base - worked great - made all arrangements through ski rental - very easy to use and Winter Park is very convenient for renters!!
written Mar 06 2011 - 09:14 AM
I enjoyed the discount on my lift ticket, but the folks at the ticket window need to be trained to handle the transaction. The discount is great, but it shouldn't take 15 minutes and 3 employees to issue a lift ticket - RIDICULOUS !
!
written Mar 06 2011 - 06:11 AM
Liftopia tickets/rentals were a breeze and saved me money. I was able to pick up my rentals and lift tickets the night before plus the rental people upgraded me to high performance skis when I was only suppose to get performance skis. Winterpark was great. It had lots of amazing tree skiing.
written Mar 05 2011 - 03:05 PM
Mary Jane is mogul heaven. If you like bumps, you must come to Winter Park. Liftopia worked great. Deno's in town was a good restaurant. Cheeky Monk at the village has great beer and Doc's has the best wings!
written Mar 04 2011 - 11:50 AM
A friend suggested I use Liftopia and it was so easy. The savings was really awesome! My son learned to snowboard and loved it. The lesson+ ticket+rental was well worth it. I really enjoyed my time at Winter Park!
written Mar 03 2011 - 11:46 AM
Great mountain! Had two beginners on the trip that went to ski school and the instructors were fantastic. There was plenty of beginner slopes for our first timers. The Parsenn Bowl was awesome! Tons of great tree skiing and some good powder. Stay at the Zephyr. It's by far the closest to the slopes and everything in the village. Nice outdoor hottubs!
written Mar 01 2011 - 02:18 PM
Had great green slopes for me to learn to snowboard on. My boyfriend, was able to go down blues while I went down greens and meet at lifts to go up again. Liftopia was really easy, they gave us all our lift tickets the first day for each day we were there so no waiting in line more than once. We stayed at the Pinnacle lodge, we were able to get a nice room with jacuzzi tub for a cheaper price than at the resort and there were free lift shuttles that take to to the slopes as well as multiple other stops throughout Winter Park and Fraiser. We were very pleased with our choice. Visit Cheeky Monk too, if you're looking for good food and great beer! All the restaurants at the resort are pretty pricey but this place is definitely worth the price! Also Hernandos, great place, very busy and you may have a wait a while for a table but definitely worth the wait!
written Feb 28 2011 - 04:34 PM
Liftopia was so easy to use. I picked up my lift ticket from the rental place at the resort without having to wait in any additional lines. So easy to use. Liftopia gets a A+.
Winterpark however is not a resort that well designed for itermediate boarders. There are far too many flat. On some runs it felt like I spent as much time unstrapped as I did strapped into the board. This was my second time at Winterpark but i think it will be my last unless I decide to try skiing. Not a fun place to try to board.
written Feb 28 2011 - 02:44 PM
I was able to pick up my Liftopia lift tickets at Winter Park Rentals while picking up my ski equipment (at 8PM). This made it really convenient - I didn't have to go to the lift ticket window early the next morning. All lifts and trails were open and the snow was perfect! Didn't realize till this weekend that they put a GPS on kids in ski school. You can see everything they've done via internet after the day is over...
written Feb 28 2011 - 02:16 PM
We had a liftopia ticket glitch at ticket window, but it was taken care of quickly with a phone call. Great skiing.Skiied all sections; Vasquez, Winter Park and Mary Jane.Liked THE JANE best.

Saved a ton of money booking ski school for my two kids through Liftopia. I also booked my husbands lift tickets here and saved. I chose the half day lessons including all day lift ticket package for myself for five of my six days. Huge bargain!!!!! My lessons cost about $8 per day over the cost of the lift ticket alone. I wasn't sure I would use all of my lessons but I did. The instructors for adults and for kids lessons were all great. The kids ski school morning drop off was disorganized but worked out in the end with a little patience from us. The kids were skiing blues, blue/blacks, moguls and trees at the end of the week. Loved the Winter Park trails. Tons of green, blue and black. Everyone was happy including my husband. (Black diamond skier and boarder)

Winter Park was beautiful and fun!
Liftopia was easy to use.

We used Liftopia for our trip to Winter Park for President's Day week and were very happy. I was able to save over $105 when booking 3-days worth of all day lessons for my 6 year old son and $80 on 3-days worth of lift tickets for myself. The Jane side of WP is our favorite place to ski & the high speed lifts they have are the only way to travel up the mountain.

We've stayed/skied at Winter Park numerous times, usually bunking with friends or sharing a killer VRBO house with other families. This was first time using Liftopia and I was pleased to get discounted lift tickets on a holiday (Prez Day) weekend, and also impressed with the ease in ticket pick-up (at Group Ticket booth in Balcony House). Intermediate riders will enjoy the long cruisers on Olympia Express lift and expert riders get pretty much the rest of the mountain (Zephyr lift to either the Mary Jane side full of bumps, or to Panorama lift for steeps and ridges. Great ski area...
written Feb 22 2011 - 02:25 PM
This is not a scam. You can pick up the tickets at the group desk inside the main lodge at the lift base with ease. No need for a car once you land in the region, as long as you are near a shuttle route. Shuttles rum to the mountain all day long, with every 30 min buses from 5:15-11pm.
written Feb 22 2011 - 02:04 PM
I was leary that Liftopia was an internet scam but it wasn't - bought two lessons/passes for my kids for our first day and there was no problem. Saved about $70 using Liftopia over the Window price. Walked up to the Guest Services at the Balcony House and redeemed the piece of paper emailed me (or you could just show it on your smart phone, I suppose) and my kids got a good introduction to the mountain by an instructor. Winter Park is a family resort and not for adult nightlifers. So we liked it.

Fantastic skiing, rgeat all around mountain. Stayed at Zephyr Lodge which was dated but clean and very convenient. Very annoyed with bobcat scooping snow arounf the complex at 4AM (very noisey) and freight train horn heard early AM several nights. Sking GREAT, sleeping not so good.
written Feb 21 2011 - 08:31 PM
Liftopia tickets were easy. Sun one day and 8" of new snow the next day. No one on the slopes. Stayed at the Viking and took the cabriolet lift back and forth. Super staff, great hot tub and good price. Drove to town one night for awesome Indian food. Great trip!
written Feb 19 2011 - 04:08 PM
Perfect as promised. Picked up my lift tickets at the base lodge rental desk...no problem....great savings! The only concern is that they issued me three (3) separate tickets as opposed to Winter Park issued tickets (they issue one ticket that was good for all three days). Not a issue considering the savings, just something to keep in mind. WP is a first class resort minus the crowds. The new village area is awesome. Terrain goes from mild to wild and there is plenty of it. Great for the family too. Thanks liftopia.
written Feb 17 2011 - 07:35 PM
Many thanks to you for existing. I saved $200 on lift tickets by using your service and I definitely reserved last minute. Thanks again and I'll be using liftopia again next year.

Stay at the Zephry, it is a short walk to the lift. Not many restaurants at the village so either plan on going to the grocery store or go into town to eat. We had breakfast in the room everyday and then ate out for lunch and dinner.

Will always book through Liftopia! Stayed at Zypher Lodge for the third time. Love it! Staying there where it is really ski in ski out makes it easy for families with mixed levels and stamina like ours! Mary Jane mountain is the BEST! Loved Bluebell, Roundhouse and Mary Jane!!

Get those legs warmed up! Thanks Liftopia! Easiest thing ever...walked right up and got the ticket and was on the slopes in no time. Mary Jane was fantastic. Lift lines were painless. A little windy at times but the snow was good and the moguls were TOUGH!

Winter Park is a terrific ski resort. I highly recommend purchasing lift tickets on Liftopia where we were able to get a 15% discount. Most of the intermediate slopes are properly classified, however, there were one or two that should be greens and didn't have sufficient incline. If you ski Vasquez Ridge, be prepared to do a lot of polling as you get to the lift as the "Big Valley" run has some uphill portions and is very flat.

I bought my tickets one day prior, no printer, and getting the tickets at guest services was super easy. The lift ticket w/lesson was less than than the day ticket alone... I did two days of bump lessons, instructor Jeff Poe was awesome, and two days tickets alone. Like Jennifer I stayed at Iron Horse, nice room, super convenient, Bistro bartender served me drinks in the hot tub. Unlike Jennifer I rented a car, $85 for the six days from Payless, saved $45 from the $130 HomeJames rountrip. Unlike Janessa, I never left the Village for apres ski and dinner, Coffee & Tea Market at Balcony House was awesome and Happy Hour at Lime was hopping, $3 Mary Jane drafts and margaritas... w/free home made chips and salsa... awesome. Loved the bumps, loved the bowls and loved the glades... loved it all!!

I was able to buy nicely discounted Saturday and Sunday lift tickets thru Liftopia, only 8 days before we skied. No hassles at the window (I did take my confirmation with me for proof). The slopes were in good shape with 9" fresh powder. Lines were short, WP staff was friendly. I can't wait to come back.

I searched online for quite some time and Liftopia was one of the better deals, especially for Saturday where little discounts are available. Winter Park was great, reasonable in pricing and great terrain. Don't expect a ski town night life like you may get in Whistler, Lake Tahoe, etc. - this place is really about the people and slopes.

YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE SKIING IN THE BOWLS ...UNBELIEVABLE...LOTS OF FRESH POWDER WHILE WE WERE THERE. HAD 3 DAYS OF LESSONS AND LIFT TICKETS THROUGH LIFTOPIA...SAVED SO MUCH MONEY...ITS THE ONLY WAY TO GO....!

Stayed at the Iron Horse and the staff and location were great. My liftopia purchase saved me over $200. No car is needed but please use Home James for your shuttle and stay away from Big Sky Shuttle. Big Sky booked my shuttle trip and gladly accepted my money, then called me 10 minutes prior to picking me up and said they couldn't make it. When I asked for my refund the gal that answered couldn't help me and transferred me to a supervisor's phone, no one answered. Luckily Home James had space for me and picked me up immediately.

WP is a great mountain with lots of trails for every level of skier. Sunnyside was by far my favorite. Very scenic!

no real need for a rental car - airport shuttle (home james) is reliable and fast and the town shuttle is excellent.
Liftopia was excellent with easy service at a non-crowded group ticket window even on weekends!

Liftopia was super easy and great! Got to WP the day before and was able to get my tickets from the Rental shop at the base. Very easy and the staff was great. Had a first time skier with me and the rental shop and the ski school was top rate!

My kids had a GREAT time skiing at WP for their first time!!! One of my kids took skiing lessons and the other snow boarding and WP ski instructors were FANTASTIC! The "family skiing area" at WP was great!

Great skiing and boarding. I do both. The resort is amazing. Best tree skiing I have done in a long time. We stayed at Zephyr slopeside and I highly recommend it. We used Liftopia for the first time and I will always try to use them in the future. BEST DEALS anywhere.
I loved the friendliness of the resort.

Mary Jane, Mary Jane...what a thrill!
Liftopia was a piece-o-cake and we saved enough money for beers and apps at Cheeky Monk

Winter Park was crowded with folks coming from Denver for a holiday weekend. Liftlines weren't too long, but I hate to wait! The best part about Winter Park is the people. I reserved ski school for my boys for Friday. Delta got us there a day late and we missed the whole day of skiing. WP just moved the ski school to Saturday! I'll be back!

I had heard a lot of varying reports regarding the terrain at WP, many people I spoke to seemed to think Summit County is the only game in town. I disagree. At a little over an hour from Denver WP delivers the goods if you like tree skiing or bumps. Being a big fan of the former (not so much the latter) I loved LOVED LOVED! the Eagle Wind lift and will definitely come back in years to come.

We had a great time at Winter Park and Mary Jane. Booked our second day after we arrived from room and confirmation said we did not need to print out reservation to pick up rentals and lift tickets. We got to the rental shop and said we needed the print out. After arguing with one employee we talked to another one and I was able to forward the email I got to him and he allowed me to rent, but still had to go back next morning to get lift ticket. I caution you to not go by the confirmation email and print out your reservation if you can.

Liftopia provided the best prices for lift tickets anywhere we looked. We have always skied at Mary Jane because the parking is convenient and the lift lines are shorter. I wish we could of picked up our tickets at Mary Jane instead of Winter Park because it is a long walk through the new village with two small children. We really enjoyed the new lift to Parsens Bowl and the bumps through the glades under the lift. Winter Park/ Mary Jane is the best!!!

we had some problems renting skis from another provider, not Winter Park Rentals. 3 of the 4 people complained the boots felt bad, and one of those was in such pain they went to return them getting new boots at Winter Park Rentals, which fixed the discomfort immediately.
If you are skiing, you MUST have boots that feel good or your pain will over-ride your fun. You get what you pay for I guess...
Also, make sure to do Edleweiss and go down the Corridor all the way around to Winter Park Base.

Liftopia and Winter Park rock!! I had an absolute BLAST at Winter Park, and Liftopia was a cinch to use. Plus, you get the best deals around on Liftopia. Period.
I hadn't snowboarded in almost 10 years, and the people working in the Winter Park rental office were very keen on me having the best day of snowboarding while I was there. There is something for everyone, no matter what your level of experience. Do it - you won't regret it.

Winter Park has gotten so diverse in the ten or so years since we have skied there! We skied very hard for three days and did not even get to Mary Jane this trip, let alone Vasquez Ridge & the newer bowls, etc. (We were slowed down a bit by our youngest, still a novice skier, but had a wonderful time.) The Torch Parade and Fireworks display, coupled with Christmas Eve services and Santa's arrival, make Winter Park a great place to ski for the holidays. Thanks!

Loved the prices we got with Liftopia! The Park is nice, but we ski bumps, so we go up the Zephyr lift and ski into Mary Jane via Outhouse. It is a long, not too tough bump run, so it's a good warmup. You cannot beat the moguls at the Jane! The best part of Mary Jane is that the lines that service mostly bump runs are never long. You really get bang for you buck there!

Liftopia was great! Went to the group ticket desk in Balcony House - Winter Park the day before we were to start skiing. They had our information, printed our tickets and we were on our way. Very easy, very reputable, and a big cost savings. Walk up ticket prices went to $97 per day after Christmas. Saved about $15 per person (3 of us) per day (4 days) so saved about $180. Better than advance purhcase at winterparkresort.com and cheaper than King Sooper's in Denever. Will definitely use Liftopia again. If you are intermediate skier going to WP, ski Columbine into Roundhouse. You will have a blast!
