Winter Park is another gem in the skiing-giant Intrawest’s crown. Spreading across three peaks and 3,078 acres, Winter Park, and its sister mountain, Mary Jane, are located only 90 minutes from Denver in the center of Colorado’s ski country. Winter Park is a destination resort not to be missed offering terrain variety, big mountain experience, and an awesome Village to... explore. The resort receives an annual average of 336 inches of snowfall a season and provides skiers and boarders with classic Colorado powder, some of the best moguls around, backcountry access, and over 3,000 feet of vertical!
Winter Park Resort is spread over three interconnected mountains: Winter Park, Mary Jane, and Vasquez Ridge. Mary Jane, a local favorite, has a separate base area and is best known for moguls and local flavor. It also offers a surplus of tree-skiing, Parsenn Bowl, and hidden huts. Though contrary to popular belief, it is not all about the moguls and advanced trails, Mary Jane’s backside offers long intermediate groomers and beautiful access alongside the national forest. Mary Jane Trail, a wide-open groomer off of the Super Gauge Express is the perfect run from top to bottom. Mary Jane also hides free slope side parking, so park here and hop on the free bus to the base village at Winter Park.
Vasquez Ridge and Winter Park Mountain offer plenty of intermediate terrain, groomers, terrain parks and the Winter Park half pipe. Best powder stashes are on Outrigger and Retta’s Run while best groomer/mogul half and half trail is often Bradley’s Bash and Balch trails. Dip over to the Mary Jane off the Outhouse Trees for a real wild ride. Winter Park’s two other sections, Parsenn Bowl and Vasquez Cirque offer variety to traditional ski terrain. Parsenn Bowl is a true blue with long open groomers and stunning views of the Continental Divide while the Cirque is accessed by backcountry gates and some of the mountain’s most challenging terrain. Either as an intermediate skier or expert skier you are offered terrain at the very top of the Continental Divide topping 12,000 feet elevation.
In the last few years at Winter Park, there have been several mountain upgrades, the addition of four new lifts, and completion of a base village. The village has many amenities with plenty of lodging like the ski in/ski out Zephyr Lodge or deluxe condos at Frasers Crossing/Founders Pointe, dining at one of the several restaurants, retail shops and an ice skating rink. Visit Winter Park for all the reasons you want a great ski vacation! Read more

save a lot of steps, use the skier drop off point and unload gear, then walk back in tennis shoes, locker rental is only $1.50, well worth the comfort.
got great snow, kinnikkinnik is a great tree run loved the mountain, lots of history also

Hey ya, Hows come every body I met out der is actually from back here in Wisconsin or Minnesoda. Maybe nobody likes the weather here but likes it pretty good out in Colorado. I do admit that the hills are better in Winter Park than we get back here in the midwest. That dry air and sun in Colorado too, we could use some of that, you betchya we could.

It was geat! It has been several years since I have been to Winterpark to ski. We had a great experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful from the beginning with me calling in with questions before our arrival all the way to the end with getting us all geared up.

Your staff is great. My only negative--It is too far from bus drop offs to lifts. The Village Cabriolet helps but still a long walk to lifts.

My entire trip was an awesome experience. If you go in December, you're chancing the quality of snow on the mountain. It's the beginning of Winter so most of the trails were closed. All in all, a fabulous time and excellent staff at Winter Park Village Rentals.

For my first time skiing it was awesome! Make sure if you are getting lessons to get Buck! He was patient and very very helpful. :) Everyone on staff was pleasant. Thanks for a great vacation WP!
Since I'm a beginner I don't know a whole lot about the quality of the lifts and runs. But I can tell you it was a blas! I will def be going back! Just make sure, beginners, if you are still getting into skiing don't go to the very top of the mountain unless you want to be rescued like I had to be. :) Thanks again ski patrol! ;) lol

My wife and I went skiing on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised with the amount of runs Winter Park already had opened (6 if I recall correctly). The snow was icy in the heavily traveled areas and there were some branches coming up through the snow but overall it was not bad considering they've only had 20 inches of snow this season. I'm excited for when the rest of the mountain opens...Mary Jane is the best!

WP is awesome for family spring skiing. Ski school for the kids was great and plenty of runs for them and us parents to enjoy together. Liftopia discounts were great, especially for ski school. Could not believe the great weather for spring skiing, only way to go. Just make sure to wear sunscreen as we got torched the first day.

Excellent, well managed and well run area with lots of great runs in all classes and very friendly staff. For late April, the snow was as good as mid-Febuary, and the Liftopia rate/service was super. Only way to fly.

I'm in the hospitality business and have been skiing for 43 years. Winter Park has it all --the best customer service of any resort I've visited and a big mountain experience with something for everyone.

Everyone who works at the resort -- from the lifties on the mountain, to the retail store salespeople, to the bus drivers, to the hotel staff -- isincredibly friendly, helpful and nice. It was noticeable. What a great place!

My son and I skiied with excellent conditions the last weekend in March. Had a great time on the Nastar course until taking a bad fall on the 'last' run of the day. Tore my ACL, MCL, meniscus, and have an impaction fracture, but the slopes, Ski Patrol, Clinic, and Liftopia were great. Hope to be back again next year!

Great snow conditions. Backside ("Fourche") trails and the peak area frontside runs in the open, down to the tree areas made for a lot of good skiing and fun. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Not too crowded at this point in the season. Liftopia made the advanced ticketing and discount pricing very easy -- many thanks.

Liftopia was smooth sailing. Winter Park was great for my husband and I; we are novice boarders, so there were plenty of runs for us. The entire staff (rental, reception, lift operators, bartenders, shop workers) were exceptionally friendly and awesome. I can't give the people enough praise- no egos, attitude, or arrogance from anyone.
