Wolf Creek Reviews & Tips (6)
Hey Jong, don't fall off the lift! They are not fast lifts, your just a beater.

The deals on this website are no better than the ticket window prices but if you look at the Wolf Creek website they often have "local appreciation days" when lift tickets are only $33. We live about three hours away but it is worth the drive. No ID needed for local rate deal.
The kids ski school is awesome and also a great value - $60 for four hours instruction plus one hour lunch (10am - 3pm). I have put both my kids in it (who are great skiers) and they really brought their skills to the next level. They had my 4-year old doing tree runs and moguls by the end of the day!
Food at the hill can be pricey, of questionable quality and the lines can be long, so pack your own meals and drop them in either of the lodges at the base. You'll be glad you did!

Awesome terrain, has nice wide trails. Lifts are kind of fast, I fell getting off once and the lift runner told me to get out of the way.the workers can be jerks though.

Went there this past Tuesday after they got a 10" dump. I was blown away, never seen so much snow. Powder on pretty much every single run. Also, there wasn't many people there which made no lift lines and for awesome fun.
The 'labeling' of the runs is pretty bad, but it doesn't really matter because you really can make your own runs; you can literally go from one run to another to another and so on. The diamond runs off Alberta lift on the back side were epic... sometimes up to knee high of powder, nobody there, makes for some really great skiing!

This is a great place to snowboard, a huge variety of wide open runs and tree runs.
