Alpine Valley Reviews & Tips (2)
Alpine Valley is a great place to get a few turns in. Nice variety of terrain for SE MI. Has a sort of "up north" feel. One of the things I like is that one of the terrain parks is off to the side, so it keeps the skiers and boarders who like that stuff away from everyone else. I'd rank it about equal to Mt Holly.

Alpine Valley is my favorite place to Ski in S.E. Michigan. Has the most runs. Mt. Holly is OK too but not worth the extra drive since the two are almost the same in my eyes and Alpine is closer to me. Alpine definitely seems to have more ski area than Holly though. I've always liked that about Alpine. Nothing is too extreme in this area so at least there is variety.
