Song Mountain Reviews & Tips (7)

we bought night tickets to lab or song for 1/30/16, we chose song. BIG MISTAKE. while the skiing was great they decided to close the mountain at 7 PM..... on a saturday night . so we payed $20/ea to ski for 3 hours.... why would you only be open till 7. normal operating hours for any hill in the area is 10 pm on a sat unless conditions are horrible. and they were not, it was great skiing. overall 1 star for business practices. 9 stars for conditions giving the year central new york has had.

The lift ticket is good for Song Mountain and Labrador Mountain. We skied Lab this Sunday because we were meeting friends. The area is doing the best it can with the snow conditions we have had this year. Always friendly staff. Ski parole is very helpful. A modest hill but it is close to Syracuse.

Great ski hill! When there is plenty of snow, there are great spots to ski in the trees. Trail 1, Jupiter, is their steepest run. If you want to make it to the chair lift again after Jupiter, you need to cut over through the trees before you get to the bottom, or you will be hiking up quite a bit to get back to the chair. The food in the cafe is expensive(much like most ski hills). I always enjoy my time at Song Mntn.

Song offered great skiing and enough diversity over 6 hours to really keep it fun. Very friendly food and ski sales staff

It's a fun hill! Not over groomed and has lots of bumps to catch air and some unexpectedly cool terrain park areas. I enjoyed it thoroughly!

Song mt closed without warning because of a Forcast of freezing rain in the afternoon. I got there without any difficulty. I suspect that they used the possibility of freezing rain as an excuse to close on a slow day. But they did allow me to use the Liftopia pass on a different day.rewsful

Had a great time! Be sure to park close to building...parking lots get icy there.
