Berkshire East is a small resort located in the heart of Massachusetts (US). While this ski area is mostly suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders, there are some beginner and advanced runs. While the resort is fairly small, with only 400 acres and 6 ski lifts, it does cover a decent 1180 feet vertical. Snowmaking covers the entire ski area.... Berkshire East also is known for catering to families, with childcare, ski rentals and ski lessons, and is also known for its strong racing program. Some other notable attractions are its base food court and snow tubing. In the summer, Berkshire East has zip lines both mild and adrenaline pumping, and includes a canopy tour. Read more

Reviews & Tips (2)
My family of 5 loves Berkshire East! We used to ski Mt. Snow but the crowds made us miserable.
Berkshire has excellent trails, great snow making and virtually no lift lines.
The family run mountain has zip lines and a wind turbine to reduce it's carbon footprint.
I would encourage anyone heading to Vermont to try Berkshire which is 15 minutes off I-91 & about 20 minutes south of Mt. Snow.
