Great time on Saturday! It snowed all day...about 2-3 inches! Made for some great conditions even though up top was a little icy. There's still plenty of great skiing/snowboarding left!

Great place, nice long trails. But if you want to go the left side of the mountain take the round about trail to cut across it's easier. Then check out Powder Dog restaurant for some awesome food!

Jiminy Peak is not family friendly ski resort, they make me pay 52$ per ticket for my 4 years old boy, all other resorts like Gore, White Face or Killington give you free ticket for 7 and under with pay adult. Go ski Gore and forget about Jiminy Peak.

I enjoyed my trip to Jiminy Peak! I was with some friends who are beginners and this was a great mountain for them to learn on, but even some of the beginner trails were challenging enough for me to enjoy as well. Just make sure you print your confirmation and bring it with you to claim your lift ticket. Even though the website and the confirmation email say you don't need to bring it they will want you to have it. The woman at guest services gave us our tickets after we showed the email on our phones, but she gave us attitude for not having the printed version. Other than her frustration with us, the rest of the staff were very pleasant and the experience was a good one.

Great mountain especially after a fresh snowfall! Midweek skiing meant no crowds and no waiting on lines! If you stay at the Wyndham Bentley Brook, you can ski in/out, then end the day in the hot tub overlooking the mountain! Highly recommend it! And Liftopia had the best deal around! Thank you!!

If you are buying a multi-day ticket make sure to renew your card it every day at guest services. We were unpleasantly surprised by our cards not working and had to back out of the line. Jiminy is a great family mountain with both good beginner slopes and nice steeps - Jericho and Whitetail are the best!

You have to go to Guest Services to redeem the liftopia ticket coupon. Night skiing was good and I don't usually like to do night skiing.

Check the weather reports first. It is no discount if you have a cheaper lift ticket that is only good on a rainy day.

Night skiing is a blast. I took my rabbit and we skied practically by ourselves and enjoyed no wait, chill atmosphere the closest parking you'll ever get. easy easy easy.

We came back, having been here 8 years ago. It is a great resort, by New England standards (we are spoilt by regularly skiing in Colorado). Note that some of the green runs have steeper parts which were a challenge to our novice skiers. Late season meant the snow conditions changed throughout the day and with every change in the weather. Rain one day meant the resort closed early at 4pm as the snow was washing away. Snow later that night meant they were back in business the following day. Note that the resort will only exchange Liftopia tickets on a daily basis, they will not issue multi day tickets even though we had three consecutive day coupons.

Great ski resort, places to stay, bar and restaurants and other amenities. My only question is I pay full price, go there to ski the entire Mountian. It's small to begin with and both days I was there,as in the past they close half the mountain ie: the lift "H" to get to Panorama, Nor'easter etc.. Is closed. For no reason. We had plenty of snow. Otherwise people are nice , all good!!

Monday was a great day. However, I learned I could have used my season pass from another mountain and saved $11.00 more than the Liftopia offer. Good for future reference.

Great resort. I enjoyed every minute on the slopes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restrooms and eating areas are well maintained and clean. Plenty of snow. Great day in my book. I will be returning for some spring riding.

Mountain was ok for cruising run's, but the only terrain park that was being serviced by a lift was the smallest of the small. Add in the traverse's and the arcane snowboard leash laws? More of a skier's mountain. Pricey too.

Conditions were the best! We enjoyed the groomed trails, the lift lines flowed quickly and orderly, parking wasn't bad, and the food was good, maybe high priced, but good none-the-less. We'll go back again.

We read about all the complaints about parking. It is a hike to the mountain. But it is do able. I would not recommend this mountain. There was no snow making to help the icy condition . The green trail are more like blue. They all feed into each other. So you have black diamond skiers into green trails. My family including my kids hated it so much they ask to go home early. Over crowded, staff has no control over the lift lines. Food is worse then any fast food place. And be carful they don't refund liftopie tickets. So the 2 run refund doesn't apply.

The conditions were excellent - although very cold. A little disappointed that the 3 day pass we purchased though Liftopia was not equivalent to a 3 day pass purchased directly from the mountain. Liftopia pass did not include night skiing and the one from the mountain would have. Deal was pretty good. A little annoying that we had to pick up the pass each day instead of all at once.

The crowd seems to peak around 6-7 pm. so i got there at around 12 with a 8 hr pass, and my friends and I had dinner around then, and by the time we got back out, it was a lot less packed. i recommend getting there early. Hit the blacks first, because when there is a crowd, they get wiped down to bare ice sheets.

Went for the first time on Tuesday Jan. 8th 2013. Not quite as nice as some VT mountains farther north but it's the Big Kahuna of the Berkshires. I loved the High Speed six person lift, really eats up the lift line quick! Plus I saved $25 by getting my tickets from Liftopia! Keep up the good work!

I had never been to Jiminy Peak before this season and have hit it twice so far. I love this place! My two visits were in Dec, the first was on demo-day, I was able to try out 7 different pairs of skis, the second visit was less than a week later, and just as enjoyable. This place had good snow and great conditions before some other mountains were even open. Money was deffinitely pumped into this resort and it shows. The lift tickets are all electronic. You keep it in your pocket and it is scanned at an airport-style entry way before you get on the lift. On both of my visits I never waited to get on their super fast 6 person chair. EVERY person I delt with we're kind and courteous. Being within 2 1/2 hours from Westchester ( same time it takes me to get to many big name mountains in NY) I strongly recommend Jiminy Peak for snow riders of any level. I have placed it on my top 3 mountains to ski in the northeast. It's just too bad there aren't more lift ticket deals for this place.

Jiminy is making tons of snow to set themselves up for the season. Conditions today (Friday) were highly variable...Whitetail was in pretty good shape, but Upper Whirlaway/Lower Exhibition was hard and full of ice balls. The rest of the mountain was pretty much the same story. Widow White chair opened for the afternoon, to much grousing by the regulars. As for the weekend, grooming may improve things for the AM, but I was told by a patrolman that both Jericho and Wild Turkey would not be open tomorrow even though they were making snow there like crazy.

Snowmaking made a good base for the recent snow to cover. There were a few icy patches but mostly on steeper areas. The new RF lift passes are pretty cool too. Maybe next year they can keep tabs on how many runs you take and how much vertical you ski/ride. Before you leave, spend $7 on the mountain coaster. So fun!

Not so good for young kids or snowboarders. The top is on a long ridge that is very flat across. I pushed past a lot of people walking and carrying their snowboards, or parents pulling kids along with their poles. Also, always seems to be windy. Hence, the wind turbines.

If staying at the Bently Brook timeshare, you don't need a ticket to take the lift directly behind the units. Then you can ski over to the main village to redeem the liftopia passes....it beats walking. Then you're all set to get on to the high-speed lift, which is great for a small resort, and head right to the top. The "bunny hill" area is really good for beginners

My family and I had a great time. We were able to bring additional family members thanks to the Liftopia discounted tickets. The mountain offers something for everyone. The condidtions were great compared to other Berkshire Resorts. The trails were kept up even after all the recent rain and warm weather. The snow base appeared to be what they said is was.(no exaggeration). I will be returning again and again. It is worth the 1 1/2 hour ride from CT.

Awesome. Bought Liftopia tix 2/13,15,16. Almost all trails open. Great conditions and plenty of variety. No lift lines. Great night skiing, with multiple night trails too. The staff is friendly and they work all night grooming, we counted 4 groomers many nights. We love the flexible start 8-hour ticket, no need to rush out there to get your value. Sleep in, have breakfast, and still get more skiing in than you can handle in a day. Fast 6-chair lift, and if it ever gets a little busy, (as it finally did on a Saturday) ski up to one of the smaller lifts like the Widow White's Quad for no wait. Would definitely come again, it is my favorite mountain. Small enough not to lose kids and big enough to be interesting.

We went on a Monday and had a great time. skied the 8 hrs only stopping for lunch. It's only an hour and a half drive from Springfield Ma. Snow was great all day. hardly any lines at the lift. Picking up tickets was very easy, so definately appreciated the discounted price. Plenty of different trails for all levels. I had just skied at Smuggler's Notch in December, so at first this seemed small, but I got so I enjoyed the quick runs.

Just went on Superbowl Sunday. Got a great deal on Liftopia on the lift tickets. The lift ticket pickup was quick and easy. The mountain had great coverage with nearly all the runs open and all well groomed with only a few icy patches. I recommend sticking with the 6-man lift because it is so much faster than the others. Jiminy has a great variety of trails for all ski levels. Would highly recommend.

Fun mid-March skiing at Jiminy. Conditions were bulletproof on the north-facing steeps until midday, with lots of pudding at the top and bottom. Surprisingly busy for a mid-week but I guess the Irish hordes were out in force for St. Paddy's Day. Other reviewers are generally right about Jiminy's food, but if you stick to simple ... hot dogs for instance ... you'll be OK. Just bring your stock portfolio to pay for it. Nonetheless, Jiminy gives the biggest bang for your ski ticket buck anywhere south of Okemo. I'll take a day at JP over Mt. Snow any day.

I always have a good experience here mid-week. I don't think I've ever gone on a weekend; I know better. The conditions are hit or miss. At night it can get pretty icy. Unfortunately there are a lot of inexperienced skiers and riders that take the lift to the top and then charge down with no regard for anyone else. The Liftopia deal with the food voucher is great. I managed to get a noodle bowl, and a hot cocoa for just under $15. The food is expensive, but I expect that at a ski lodge. My boyfriend and I rode in one of the snowcats one night, and we got the scoop on how they groom all through the night. So the earlier you arrive, the better your chances of getting some nice tracks in before it gets skied out or windblown.

Insanely crowded everytime I've been there. Avoid the lifts right in front of the lodge and stick with H and A and you'll be okay. Gets skiied off pretty fast with the amount of traffic. Go midweek if you can; if not, expect a mob scene.

AWESOME MOUNTAIN!! Great skiing experience - Wouldn't believe it was MA if I didn't see it with my own eyes. 6 Pack lift includes safety gates that reminded me of the Kentucy Derby. Lines were long on this lift but well managed. The black diamonds in the middle of the mountain that this lift services are very steep and icy. Not for the faint of heart. You can bail and go down the easier trails but be ready for some cross country action to get to them. We stuck to the blues on the right side (looking up)and the triple chair lift and had a blast. Almost no lines at all. Plenty of great intermediate trails to choose from. Ace of Spades (black diamond) is a great run. The mountain roller coaster also was on this side of the mountain. Looked like fun but we didn't have the time to ride it. Spent most of our day on this section of the mountain and would do the same again next time. The left hand side (again looking up) of the moutain (Left Bank, Grouse Run) was WAY too crowded. It was literally a continous herd of people narrowly avoiding eachother. Tons of little kids and families on these trails. There were some easy tree skiing and jumps on these trails that were pretty fun though. I would avoid these trails on the weekends though due to the crowds alone. We grabbed lunch at John Harvards which was AWESOME. Had to walk through part of the hotel to get there. Place looks like an great vacation destination. I would def look into staying a couple nights here. There are a few dining / drinking choices nearby and the hotel looked really nice. Shuttle service to and from the parking lots was key. We didn't have to wait more then 5 minutes for a shuttle coming or going.

Riders beware, catwalks abound on this mountain, particularly coming off the 6-pack. Left Bank and West Way get crowded due to the fact that they feed to other trails and other trails feed back into them.

Don't go to the ticket line for your tickets, go to guest services and bring I.D with you. The staff at the lift and on the mountain were lame. People, mostly 15-20 something men were smoking and cutting the lift lines all night. It was pretty obnoxious. Ski patrol were too busy having fun to monitor. I've been skiing for over 25 years and got clipped by a snowboarder who was going so fast he couldn't stop. If he had hit me, it would have been over for both of us. I won't be bringing my family back there again. We will stick with places like okemo and burke!
