With 35,000 acres of amazing terrain in the heart of the West San Juan Mountains, The San Juan Ski Company is Colorado's largest snowcat skiing operation. Escorted by our experienced guides, guests each day can expect to ski 8 to 12 runs and 8,000 to 12,000 vertical feet of untracked powder in the bowls, chutes, ridges, glades and treed slopes that comprises the biggest snow cat skiing operating area in the industry. Snowfall ranges between 20 and 30 feet each season. Elevations in our permit area vary from 8,800 at Durango Mountain Resorts base to 12,500 feet at the summit of Greyrock Peak. Read more
