Timberline offers the longest ski season in North America. The winter season typically begins early to mid-November and continues through Memorial Day. Our Palmer Express high-speed quad lift allows us to operate later into the summer season than anyone else (usually June 1st through Labor Day). Many years, we’re open for fall skiing as well (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in... September and October snow permitting). For up-to-date hours of operation, call our Snow Phone at 503-222-2211, or view our conditions page at www.timberlinelodge.com/conditions. Read more

Reviews & Tips (2)

Lodging with character, superb food, trails for everyone, snowfall that puts the Colorado "big boys" to shame. Go! And if you need more black trails, they're right across the street at Mt. Hood Meadows.

Pick up your passes at the Ski Services desk on lower level. Check lift schedules - you have to plan your afternoon runs to maximize day (some close at 3:00, some at 3:30, some at 4:00 - since some lifts run BELOW the lodge, you can get trapped :-)

Points to consider while writing:
  • - Definitely talk about the snow, the lifts, the quality of the run, the staff/instructors
  • - Would you go again?
  • - What would you say to others with your skill level who are interested in going?
