Located along the east side of the Jamez Mountains in north central New Mexico, Pajarito Mountain is a ski resort with 7 ski lifts, 44 trails and 280 acres of skiable terrain. Pajarito has some great expert skiing heading straight up and to the right side. Intermediates are mostly found along the other side. With a terrain park, grooming, slopeside... café, and lessons, Pajarito has a reputation for tree skiing, bumps and groomed cruisers without the crowds. Read more

Pajarito is open Friday through Sunday, federal holidays and a few vacation weeks such as Christmas to New Year's. Less skier traffic per acre of skiing means that Pajarito has more powder and softer bumps than most ski areas.
