Great job of making snow trails were in excellent shape considering the lack of natural snow so far this season. The have a lot of new guns and snow making equipment.

It was a perfect day on St. Patrick's Day, yet the trails were almost empty! Perfect conditions though all around.

Not much of a ski town environment but a great mountain either way. If you are going for the day and are interested in the glades make sure to check and see if they are open - when I was there almost all of them were closed and did not find any open until going up to the rumor/lies area

To Barthalemu-
Be happy you're a skier at Gore. Snowboarders beware, SKI patrol doesn't care much for us "hoodlum" boarders powder hunting. Fun mountain, but why is everyone so mean?? Relax you old farts, this isn't my first tree run... My advice, find some colorful freestyle skiers and follow their tracks off trail, you'll be in the clear. have fun!

Watch Out for the closed places cause its not nice to ski em when their closed! Remember that the Ski Patrol will always help you so be nice to em.

Pay attention to the traverses it's a pain especially for snow boarders.
I felt like I did more walking than riding. Stay on the steep stuff.

We lucked out with a perfect day of skiing. Went on a Friday so it was not too busy and never had to wait in line. Tried as many trails as we could, except for moguls. Sun was shining, powder was soft. Great day!

Don't go on cold days. They close down 3/4 of the mountian and you get to ski 3 trails all day.FUN FUN

Not quite as many trails and lifts as the bigger Whiteface but then again it's a closer drive. Well groomed and friendly service. They did have long trails for all levels but no really fast lifts. Even the Gondola seemed a little pokey. Overall a very nice option.
