Oak Mountain is a ski resort in northeast New York, has 3 lifts and 14 trails covering 100 acres. A novice area is on the left right next to the base lodge and tubing hill. For the hardest parts of the hill, take B for a couple black diamonds. Every Oak Mountain area has a mix of blues, blacks and... greens, so you can decide what you want after you take the lift. 30% of the slope is covered with snowmaking. Oak is a terrific mid-sized ski/snowboard center.THOSE OF US WHO SKIED IN 1970`s USED A CHALLENGING T-BAR TO RIDE TO THE TOP !
The Chair lift is a heavenly improvement ! And what a great upgrade about ten years ago with the new lodge/restaurant,and Tubing Lanes.
