Reviews & Tips (2)

Cannon is state owned and low key, but the mountain offers some of the best terrain in NH. Upper Cannon trail is one of the best serpentine cut trail in the area, in that you can take the big S turns to keep it slow or blast down the inside corners. The front three at the bottom (Zoomer, Paulie's Folly, Avalanche) will give most skiers the thrills they seek. Cannon's weather is legendary. It can be cold and windy and the trails can be icy. There have been many days where it was hard to leave the tram house because the wind pushed you back in. But - Cannon has its own snow belt. It will get twice the storm of nearby Loon Mountain. If there is fresh powder, stay away from Cannon! Because I don't want you stealing my freshies :-)

  • - Would you go again?
  • - What would you say to others with your skill level who are interested in going?
