Great staff, couldn't be more helpful. Can get icey when the top layer melts in the warm sun. Good dump of snow was welcomed by all. Good deals to be had on passes.

1200 feet of fun. Skied Xmas day 2011 and they worked HARD to get trails open for the big day after rain and weeks of 35- 40+ degree days. Great staff, true New England skiing, and a high speed quad with varied terrain, AND despite the limited vertical height, the trails are long enough to make the ride up well worth the trip down with smiles on. I'll go back later season when more is opened up, but they were making snow just in case (watch Mt. C snow reports). ...a big time family ski area btw!

My family and I skied Cranmore the last day of the season. I was very impressed how the conditions were even though they were closing that day. No lines and great snow till the end. A great mountain for families and the prices of our tickets on liftopia were even better. I've skiied Sunday River all winter long but i always manage a quick trip to Cranmore with the kids. I'll always go back..Oh ya I even tried the new Mountain coaster with my son, we rode double and flew!! Nice way to end my ski season.. I've bought my tickets all winter through Liftopia and you can't beet the deals. I just had to share with other familes... See ya next season....

Mweh, I wasn't impressed. Get the liftopia deal, because it's not worth $66 to ski here. Small, not challenging. would be good for families though.

Great, small mountain. Good snow. Fun trails. Not overly crowded. The base lodge/bar area doesn't have enough seating and gets very crowded around lunchtime. That won't prevent us from skiing here again however.

My husband and I went to Cranmore for the first time.Very nice family Mt.
I liked the way it was set up to ski off both sides of the mountain.varied trails some wide, some narrow, old new england meandering style. The sun just blasts the mountain. The best at the end of the day was the lodge at the top of the Mt. that served food, beer and wine. Out side deck with a great view. The people young and old were frendly.

Fun early season day abet no "real" snow still a good day to be playing outside. Plenty of trails to keep entertained. Great traditional New England mountain. Wonderful new upgrades and very friendly all around. Log Cabin at top of mountian for lunch was so classic and what a view!

I actually rode the skimobile in the old days. With my Attenhoffer skis and Cubco cleat bindings. The main lodge with the beautiful natural stone architecture. My favorite area in it's size class in NH. A perfect alternative if you get to Wildcat and the flags are straight out in the wind, and you have to force your car door open against the force of the wind. Cranmore's main express Quad gets you up the 1100 Vertical in no time and there are a lot of trails off the top to ski from . Then there is the back side with the oldest(?) operating lift in NH. Check out the riveted towers! So close to all the nearby in town apres scene. Exit to the north and come out near the Intervale towards Jackson and some of those apres locales as well. Cranmore relatively well protected terrain for skiing on nasty windy days. Lots of competition from nearby (?) Pleasant Mountain over the line in Maine. Pleasant may have changed their name? Attitash, Black and Wildcat with Sunday River not that far away either. Cranmore then seems to run more promos than the average overpriced mid sized ski area. Gunstock as an example, being probably the most egregiously expensive and being not much more than Cranmore for a ski experience. Nice flat parking areas right next to the slopes. Night skiing and tubing a favorite for pre and teens. Check their web site for deals and give them a call on the phone to find out about specials on lift rates. With that express main chair you can get a lot of runs in and really get your money's worth. Albeit a bit flat at the bottom. Great Family / beginner area too.
