Wonderful hill for families learning to ski. Great back side terrain for those who already know how. We come back every year.

My son and I learned how to ski here a couple years ago... I was 32 years old and he was 3 years old and it was the perfect place to start. It is not intimidating at all, the staff were so patient and helpful and the trails are awesome for beginner and intermediate skiers. We still go back once in awhile for a fun, relaxing day of skiing!

I have taught multiple people to ski at King Pine. It is a wonderful mountain to learn how to ski or snowboard. It is fun to watch my children have so much fun and be able to ski the entire mountain. Excellent value and the mountain is taken care of wonderfully.

We spent a day at King Pine and loved every minute. Don't let the main area fool you. It looks like a rinkedink mountain but, it's truly a hidden gem! Little lines, big fun!!! Open trails and friendly staff! A great mountain for the family

So glad we spent three days at King Pine! My two beginner skier children had great private and group lessons. My husband and I enjoyed skiiing together while children in lessons. We found some challenging terrain for our intermediate skills. We also were shocked at the ability of the children after their lessons! Nice way to spend the morning! Cafeteria and lodge completely comfortable and affordable - and small enough to never lose a kid. One son decided at day 2 he wanted to snow board. No big deal, we rented equipment and he was set up with a private lesson and was riding the rest of the day. Everyone - teachers, lift operators, ticket sellers are pleasant and friendly. We also love the five minute drop off area - it makes everything so much easier! I highly recommend King Pine!

I loved this resort! It was recommended by a local friend and for a holiday weekend (MLK) it was empty...I think the rainy weather the day before may have scared people away, but for those of us who were there - we had a great time! All of the lifts were open, trails were well groomed, and everyone from the lift operators to the bartender in The Tavern were super nice! That made a big difference in my book because everyone we encountered who worked there LOVED being there! Keep up the great work!

Haven't skied in 20 years. Took a lesson with JP and she was wonderful - I felt more comfortable skiing than I ever did. My daughter took lessons and now she is whizzing down the mountain. Can't speak highly enough about the instructors. The mountain is a nice family mountain.

King Pine is a great place both for novice skiers and experts. Novice skiers have the area off the Powder Bear Triple and the Pokey Pine area on the backside. Intermediate skiers have Red Pine on the backside and the area off the Black Bear Chair. Expert skiers will enjoy the blacks and double blacks on the backside including a glades area off Pokey Pine (not on the trail map, but marked) and New Hampshire's steepest groomed trail.

King Pine was the perfect family area for us. We skied with 4 kids under the age of 7 and they had a blast. The expert terrain is steep enough to be a big challenge for little legs but short enough not to be too intimidating. There were huge smiles once they made it down their first Black Diamond. The lifts come in a little fast so you have to make sure the kids are paying attention. This is our second trip to KP and we will definitely be going back next year.

First time skiing King Pine. It was very enjoyable. The conditions were great after a foot of new snow fell the night before. I wish the trails were a little longer. But no lift lines to speak of like MA. We tubed there the day before as well. Staff very courteous and friendly. My only recommendation is to park in the lots after the lodge, closer to where you need to get lift tickets for both tubing and skiing.

Although not widely advertised,a senior(60-69) skis for $34 a day(9-4). Buy your ticket at the desk. When you turn 70 you ski for $15 a day These offerings are not usually available on Liftopia as is the 4-5 year olds first timmer package (equipment and lesson) of $39 per day. Great prices and great skiing.Instructional staff is excellent. Our family has been skiing at King Pine for over 30 years. With an increasing grandchildren population, we need KIng Pine and Liftopia!

We are from coastal Mississippi and had never skied before. The staff at King Pine were wonderful to us. All 5 in our family took lessons and learned to ski. The instructors were great. We had a fantastic time and we will definitely return to King Pine for our next ski trip. Loved it!

We love King Pine and have travelled from the UK twice to come and ski here. It is totally family friendly, reasonably priced and very well groomed. I can let my sons ski freely without worrying about them.

This mountain is great for the little ones. My 5 year old with Down's syndrome rode a chair for the first time.(She has only started skiing 3 lessons ago) The lift operators gladly slowed down the lift when she was getting off.

Some people think we're crazy to drive over 5 hours to ski a place with 350' vertical. Obviously they've never been to King Pine. There simply isn't a better place for kids or a young family. The pricing is flexible and very reasonable. The folks there are always friendly and helpful. Our kids have had some terrific instructors. And the dbl black diamonds are truely dbl black diamonds- yahoooo!

King Pine is a great family Ski Resort. The snow conditions were great, all the trails were open. They also had a Cardboard Derby Car Race going on while we were there, which was a lot of fun to watch. My 8 yr old took his first 2 lessons there that day, the first one was included with the lift & rental package. The instructors were great, he had a blast and can't wait to go back, he did not want to leave. We also got rentals for my 2 1/2 yr old to give skiing a try as the lift ticket was free for him, the Magic Carpet lift and hill was great for him to test it out. We then had him join our 1 yr old in the Child Care program for the remainder of the day. The daycare workers were great, the kids had a lot of fun. Great pricing through Liftopia for our adult lift tickets, we were able to save $15 on each of our tickets.
