Since 1971 McIntyre Ski Area has been Manchester’s backyard for winter fun. McIntyre Ski School, Inc. and began providing ski lessons in 1978. Hundreds of thousands of children and adults began their lifelong love for winter learning to ski or snowboard at the Mighty Mac.
In 1996, the rental & retail shop was added and the shop quickly became the go ... to place to purchase children’s ski and snowboard equipment as well as providing parents the option to lease, rather than buy their equipment. While you are picking out your new or gently used equipment look over the biggest selection of hats, helmets, socks, and mittens in town.
In the fall of 2009 McIntyre Ski School Inc, a private organization, accepted management responsibilites from the city of Manchester. Through the past year and a half improvements have been the focus. New Lodge, new tubing, new lifts, new snowmaking, new grooming equipment, new programs....and more. Keep an eye on us for more new activities to come in the season ahead! Read more

Great for anyone who is learning how to ski or snowboard. Also the best for learning how to air off of jumps and use rails.
