Overview

Just up the road from Mammoth and celebrating its 50th anniversary, June Mountain is tucked away in the small town of June Lake. Blessed with breathtaking views of June Lake, Gull Lake, Mono Lake, Carson Peak, Reverse Peak and Mount Wood, it’s no wonder this quaint little hamlet has earned the title ‘The Swiss Alps of the Sierras’.

Perfect for families... and friends looking for a great value, Mammoth’s sister resort is California’s best kept secret! And with June’s new 2011 Transworld Resort Poll Rankings – best Terrain Park in California (#3 in North America) & Second Best Halfpipe (#6 in North America), June’s showing its Big Brother that little sis is growing up!

Don’t want to drive? Then leave the driving to us. With free daily shuttle service from Mammoth, all you have to worry about is how you’re going to keep June a secret from the rest of the pack.

Chains, not just in the car but ON the car, were required for the drive to June Mountain. This was a MAJOR inconvenience as the road had been freshly plowed, and our car did not care for the chain-pavement experience.
