Staff has improved...much more friendly than last time. Tried the $6.50 hamburger...would give it a 4/10...sorry! Snow was actually ok, but the most advanced trail was not groomed and being late in the season it was very heavy to ski. Lifts could have been run a litle faster. Overall a pretty good experience for what it is. Can't wait for the it to expand. PS: caution, on the drive back home it is all downhill and I just let my car roll(didn't touch gas pedal) @ 80 mph...speed limit 55...wouldn't you bloody know it...a freak'n cop had pulled someone over for speeding...REALLY!!! No exist, no homes, no schools no nothing... in the middle of nowere...I don't condone speeding, but knowing me knowing you...we only try to save gas on the way down. Las Vegas Ski Resort, tell the cops to back off...we are trying to support you during the resession and can't wait for you to expand.

Tip: Park on the upper level parking...The lower level gets way too crowded!
My daughters all took lessons 2 days this weekend and now they look like snowboarders and skiers. The 6-12 year old group lessons were great and they learned a lot. They had a different instructor both days but liked them both and liked them too. The Snow Tots had too many kids and my youngest spent a lot of time waiting for someone to help her get up after she would fall. The second day she skied with me and learned how not to fall and won many races down the Rabbit Peak.
Most runs are blue and black so this mountain is best for intermediate or advanced skiers. We had a lot of fun and will definitely go back soon.

Nice escape from Vegas, gorgeous views from the chairlift and not crowded. My only gripe is that I hadn't been on my board for years and wanted to warm up on some green circles, but this mountain really isn't geared for beginners unless they want to stay on the bunny hill all day. One cool thing about this place is that they have a sweet run with a bunch of jumps and rails if you are into that.

This place is cool. Only a short drive from Vegas. Not crowded, good lifts, small place, but a little something for everyone. I recommend it if you are in the Vegas area and want to get away for some snow fun.

Do not wax your ski & cut the blade before starting a new mountain that you never been on... great place. Hit the slots after!!! More snow than Tahoe, Balding... Great hidden place!!! Love it!!!

Have plenty of gas before split. Closest station is about 20+ miles away. They do sell gas for 5 gal for $25 though.
The prices are strip prices too. Make sure you really wanna ride at a small ace first.
