Don't use the Mountain repair shop. They charged my daughter $30 for a 5 min adjustment to her bindings.

Spent Monday March 24th on the mountain with my (beginner/intermediate) wife .... NO lift lines (as you might expect for a non-holiday Monday) .. LOVED the bubble lift (keeps the wind at bay and you warm in 15F to 20F temps) ... LOADS of long blue runs .... conditions were good even tho' the surface was firm with some icy spots ... will definitely go back ....

March 23: Where we skied, the snow was excellent (everything except North Face and Sunny Brook) My only complaint is lack of signage on Milk Way (southside) and River Run (north) indicating those trails don't return to the base. Excellent mountain for beginners and intermediatesand especially terrainists Skip the Bluebird lines and get in more runs via the non-bubble lifts

Mt Snow's main lift, The Blue Bird, has been out of service for several days. People shoud check to see if its repaired before they go. The lift moves so many skiers/riders.

St Pat's day was a bit crowded, but the conditions were good overall. If you rode the edges of the trails, you could still use your edges to carve. Carinthia had the best overall conditions--remarkably mid-winter like as opposed to mid-March! Like always, beats even a great day at work:-)

Avoid Mt Snow on St. Patrick's Day. Got there before the lifts started. By the third run, there was a 20 minute wait to get back up. Trails ranged from tolerable to "are you kidding me" icy. Guess that's why I only skied at Mt Snow 3 times in fifteen years.

I was at Mt Snow for St. Paddies day and had a great time. Mt. Snow covers three sides of the mountain and depending on which way the wind is blowing you can usually find a side that has significantly less wind on the lift. As far as conditions it is difficult to get them right after Saturday was spring skiing weather and Sunday Monday were Jan. Feb. temperatures. I skied Magic on Sunday and Mt. Snow on Monday and the conditions on Monday were epic in comparison. All you had to do is look for the snow on the trail to turn in there was plenty. Not to say there wasn't any ice.

Haven't been to Mt. Snow is many years but what they call "packed powder" is frozen granular on ice. Liftopia was great. Mt. Snow, not so much.

Awesome time with 8 inches of powder on top of very little ice that got created during last weekends Rain. The snow in the woods was powder/ice/powder and great conditions on the north face. good amount of snow pack that kept the twigs and sticks at bay. Go to the second blinking light to get to the main parking lots. Paid $50 on liftopia for midweek.

Park at Carinthia, just south of the main entrance. You can get your tickets there and take a lift to get to the main part of the mountain. Great way to avoid the crowds and lines. Great mountain for intermediate skiers with a ton of blue runs.

Great place for a short ride from NYC! spent all day at Carinthia just because the lift lines were moving all day. It was snowing all day and made conditions awesome it put my fear aside and made myself get more advanced in the park and halfpipe. Going to return in the spring for last year ridings might explore whole mountain...

Got there a bit later than we would have liked however even though it was midweek of school vacation there were almost no lift lines. The snow was great. Definite bargain especially with liftopia. Parking is odd. No attendants to direct you. Just park wherever, EXCEPT not at the drop off near the main lodge. Saw several cars with tickets there.

Park at Carinthia in the AM - get there by 8:15 AM. Base lodge too crowded. Hit Sunbrook & North Face all AM long. Summit lodge is a sweathouse - go there in mid-PM for a bev. Wind up with some cruisers back at Carinthia - plenty of room for skiers and boarders

The rental equipment at Mount Snow is terrible quality and borderline dangerous. Went skiing with my friend who got the rental and the skis were so sharp that he ended up gashing his leg open when he fell (had to get several stitches). I'd definitely recommend renting off-mountain if you decide to visit this mountain.

go during the week if possible. much less crowds and still all the terrain to enjoy. the tickets purchased via liftopia.com are muuuuch cheaper considering the price at the window. 1 weeekday and 1 weekend day at the counter cost a good $150 or so. with liftopia.com the same ticket was just over $100. thats' $50 saved and useable for lunch and or a tshirt!

Don't go when they have their NSSA show. They let the attendees on the lifts before opening time and they beat up all the freshly groomed trails.

Liftopia discount was great and so is Mt. Snow. Though, it poured rain one day of my 5 day ticket. When I went back the following day to see if I could get a credit for the rainy day, they said that I needed to go to the mountain on the bad ski day, as if I was going to ski, in order for them to give me a credit. Lesson learned!

Skier's right on Nitro is a hidden spot for some quality snow. All the features are in the middle of the slope. Keep right of the features and you will have fresh lines well into the afternoon. Watch for riders hitting the side of the kickers and be courteous of the others, remember it is the terrain park. Always a good time at Mount Snow and always top notch snow conditions.

Hadn't been to Mount Snow for 5 years. Back then I thought it was boring and not very scenic, being mostly intermediate cruisers with hardly any bumps or other interesting alternatives. This time I found the mountain MUCH IMPROVED with lots of bumps and scenic trails through woods while retaining a wide choice of easier groomed trails for people who prefer them. I will definitely come again.

Mount Snow is awesome, they have so many good trails (north face) and many good glades, only the bluebird line is very long but you can go to the summit lift right next to it. Carinthia is a boss terrain park. Otherwise mount snow is the best mountain ever.

If you are going on the weekend, skip the bluebird express lift because the lines can be long. A hundred feet away is the uncovered 4 person lift that services the summit, which is equally as fast as the bluebird, albeit a little colder and windier but it has a fraction of the line that the bluebird does. With the uncovered lift, I never had to wait more than a few minutes to get on (half the time I didn't even have to wait) and I was able to get a ton of runs in even on a fairly busy weekend day.

Couldn't have been a better day for skiing at Mount Snow this past Tuesday! Picking up the tickets at the window was a breeze and SO worth the money. I would never pay full price ticket to ski at this point in the winter. Conditions were fabulous and the lift lines went fast - the new Blue bird lift is so comfortable and we never had to put the bubble down because the sun was shining and the temps were perfect!

Overall, not a bad mountain and we had a lot of fun. Killington is a little better, but further drive for us from PA. We stayed at Bear Crossing, so we could ski right back to condo if we wanted. The only negative thing I can say about Mt.Snow is about the bartender, who had a pony tail but has cut it this year (2013). Completely rude and lazy. We'd be standing DIRECTLY in front of him, money in hand, and he would ignore us. And we're not a bunch of young punks.

Mount Snow is a great place in Southern Vermont to ski and well worth a trip. I Got a fantastic deal on midweek tickets through Liftopia & it felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. Tips: Go mid week for great deals and no crowds. Free bag check in the lodge is great. $2 slope side Ski/board check is well worth it. Hit Grizzlys' for an Apres beer on the deck.

Mount Snow had lots of trails open and LOTS of fun things happening on St. Pattie's Day weekend! Fun people and the Bluebird Express lift was aweseome-fast, comfortable, and quiet....I recommend making a weekend of it though to get 2 ski days in and stay locally as there are many places within minutes of the Mountain. We stayed at the Inn at Sawmill Farm on Crosstown Rd. and it was fantastic!!! Highly recommended!!!

Bluebird Express was a nice lift but I prefer gondolas! Due to lack of snow there wasn't much change in terrain - even on black diamond runs. My husband and I arrived on March 10th and found the manmade snow to be ok but a lot of trails were super icy. Compared to the other mountains we've been to this year, I would say Mt Snow lacks in lift/trail signage and the ski/boarding etiquette. People will plow you right over and not think twice about it – people also pulled off the trails in the worst locations causing you to stop dead in your tracks (on far less than perfect conditions this is dangerous!) Not cool! We decided that our second day of skiing/boarding was going to involve their terrain park (Corinthia)…this MUST be the draw to this mountain. The park is incredible. Overall, unless I’m feeling the need for a terrain park I don’t think we’ll be back to Mt Snow. The whole environment lacked FUN and thrills…it was just an “ok” couple days. For short trips from MA – I’ll see you at Loon!

Love Mt. Snow, learned to ski there about 12 years ago and enjoy going back every year. Particularly like their snow guarantee. If you don't like the conditions, show-up at guest services before 10:00 am, tell them you're not happy and they'll give you a voucher to be used anythime within a year; nice touch! This was also my frst time using liftopia, saved about $75 on a 3 day pass, I'll be back!

I enjoyed Mt Snow very much. I got a great ticket deal for Feb 29, 2012. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The indoor features ( restaurants, restrooms, ski/snowboard shops ) were very clean and inviting. The runs are so well laid out. I have been snowboarding since the boards were made out of plywood. Loved it! Parking and lodge locations are not very intuitive from the street, but easy enough to get to the right place. Staff was friendly, lines were non-existant, and trails were a blast! Uncles was absolutely my favorite. Some of the runs were not open because of the winter we've had so far, but they made enough snow to make the day well worth the trip. Had first tracks on some runs. Can't wait to go back!

went last week - good deal on the ticket and Blue Bird chair is super smooth, clean and "bubbly" - but due to lack of natural snow the cross trails/glades that connect the more vertical trails were closed :( - so basically skied the same few trails all day. Can never go wrong with the north face. Absolutely never has a line for the lift, even presidents weekend. They leave usually half or more of the trails ungroomed, and Ripcord (the only double diamond) is one of the steepest headwalls in the east. Many of the single diamond trails on the north face, if placed at other mountains would be considered double diamonds.

I love this mountain. I learned to snowboard here and the instructors were super helpful and very patient. There's many different trails on different parts of the mountain that you can try depending on your skill level. The North Face is great for Advanced, while the Main Face provides a number of blues and greens with varying difficulties. Also, Carinthia - a snowboard park - is perfect for those that want to pull a few tricks.

Doug Ashworth is a great private snowboard instructor. He is very knowledgeable of riding and was very helpful. I recommend MT Snow’s snowboard school private lessons if you are looking for knowledgeable instructors. (Ask for Doug)

This is one awesome place. Been going since I was 4, I'm 14 now. It has great family time, and with all the snowmaking, relatively fast service, it's worth it. Best place eVeR~

Southern VT's finest...I grew up skiing here. Check out the North Face and hanging on Bear Trap is fun on a sunny day.

This resort is amazing with its wide open cruisers and generous amount of blue terrain. Fear not Advanced skiers the North Face should combat any steep slope withdrawals. Regardless it's a great family mountain and keeps getting better with regard to snowmaking since the ownership changed two seasons ago. Hope you give it a chance

This place is my favorite. They have really nice long, relaxing slopes for people like me (I am not an expert).
