Skied Easter Sunday with 115 open trails. Had a great day, little or no waiting for the lift ride up. For spring skiing Okemo does a fantastic job grooming. The trails were in excellent condition. As the afternoon temperature & clouds increased the upper Southface trails were the ones to stay on. In the late afternoon snow on the lower trails became heavy "mashed potatoes", which is typical for a spring day. Going back again before this season ends!

Last Saturday morning everything was still open. There were big lines at the Sunburst lift even though it's late in the season.Everyone wants to ride the bubble chair if there's any percip or wind. Ski around the lines to the World Cup side of the lift. If it's still busy, get in the singles line on weekends.

Got back to Okemo this past Monday for the first time since 2009. We expected great snow conditions and grooming at Okemo and were not disappointed. We were amazed at the Sunburst lift with the bubble and heated seats. We all enjoyed the Tuckered Out trail for the first time.

Had a bluebird day at Okemo on Monday the 16th. Fabulous conditions, and the mountain was groomed to perfection. The heated seats on the chairlift will spoil you forever. Have lunch at the sit down restaurant in the Jackson Gore base area. The table service is great, the food is excellent (try the chili or the chowder - both way good), and the prices are comparable to eating in the main lodge cafeteria at the base area where the food is merely passable.

Okemo is of our favorite mountains in the NY & VT area. The tails are well maintained and staff helpful and friendly. As many we usually bring our lunch with us. We did not this time and we certainly paid the price. Stopping in at the main lodge for lunch we bought two packaged salads and a bottle of water. Total $25.00, OUCH! Word to the wise... Pack Your Lunch.

Great conditions this year. Plenty of snow, all well groomed. This was one of the best ski trips in a long time. I really like the new enclosed lift -- heated seats, sun shade ... much better than a gondola. Lines were a little tough, particularly at the new lift, but the lines move quickly and the mountain wasn't too crowded (and this was on a spring break weekend). The intermediate glades trail was lots of fun. I'm glad we skipped going to Colorado, and stayed local this year. Also, if you stay in Ludlow, try the pancakes at Cafe at deLight. Excellent!

Great conditions and fully open March 5. Midweek is the only way to go at this mountain. Great $49 deal for lift ticket through Liftopia, BUT, bring your own food. $4.35 for a gatorade to go along with an $8 cup of chili!

We got there around 10 on a Saturday and had to park in the "Blue" lot (requires a bus ride). Definitely get there first thing, because the line to catch the bus back was about an hour wait. Otherwise the conditions were AMAZING. The mountain was well groomed (all powder, only a minimal amount of ice towards the end of the day). Food was delicious (not too pricey for a ski resort... got an "Island Chicken" sandwich for about $12. Definitely spend more than a day there though... it's impossible to hit every trail in only one day.

I hadn't been skiing in a few years but just went to Okemo for 2 days, the condtions were great, slopes well groomed. I hadn't been there in a few years but I never had a bad ski trip there. Check out the new chair with the bubble and heated seats. Just don't make the mistake trying to cross over from one mountain to the next leaving you on the deep mogul trail that cuts through the trees and have to walk down in 3 feet of snow. It was alot of fun but that slope killed me. Midweek was really great, no lift lines. I'll be back again.

Hit the mountain early! weekdays were awesome except Friday cold and upper lifts including sunburst never opened because of wind. Sat 2/21 was the most crowded, but still found a table at lunchtime. Highly recommend you brown bag it, average $75-80 lodge spending lunch & hot drinks breaks for a family of 4! still a mountain with lots to ski and nice job by the groomers!

Was at Okemo on the 18th of February. Cold but beautiful blue sky. No wind. Views Incredible. Trails and conditions were fantastic. Staff very helpful and nice. Barely any lines at the lifts especially at the Solitude lift. Sunburst the most crowded. Variety of trails for everyone so we could go to the top together, split up and meet at the bottom. Excellent day. Will plan to return.

I had tix for Monday which was bestial. The folks at Okemo were super nice and said ski for an hour and if it is too terrible, come back and we will give you tix for tomorrow. We did and it was, terrible that is, couldn't feel my fingers or toes after two runs. They made good on their word and we had a glorious day of "tropical" skiing on Tuesday.

My son and I spent 3 days skiing at Okemo. Conditions were great all over. It helped that we got 4 inches of new snow across Saturday and Sunday. Two of the days the temp was below zero with lots of wind -- On those days we really appreciated the bubble cover on the Sunburst Six. (http://www.okemo.com/mountain-info/orange-is-whats-new/) It was supposed to have heated seats, but they weren't working - not a big deal. This lift was relatively slow, as are the Sachem Quad and Glades Peak Quad. We tried to stay with the Express Quads when we didn't need warming up under the bubble. Express Quads serve Southface and Jackson Gore areas which were less crowded than the main mountain. (Fast Lifts & Fewer People) Whispering Pines is a great intermediate glade trail. We arrived shortly after 8AM, and got good parking spots at the main Lodge.

My boyfriend and I purchased tickets for Friday and Saturday through Liftopia. I was really impressed with the discount and the mountain as a whole. Great restaurants on the mountain-- strongly suggest checking out Epic! Going midweek is your best bet. Friday we had entire trails to ourselves, but Saturday was a different story. Still a great mountain with lots of nice glade runs. Difficult to get from peak to peak as a snowboarder due to flat trails. Cute town but everywhere shuts down by 6 pm. If you're looking for a fun town with some bars and good food, I'd suggest staying outside of Ludlow.

Okemo does as good a job with the mountain as can be done. The workers are great, the mountain is fine. However as far as value I don't recommend the Jackson Gore Hotel. The rooms are small and done cheaply. The TV"s are still the old type. The restaurant is hit and miss at best, my first visit i ordered a very expensive venison which was horrible. My last visit I had Ravioli that was terrible. The workers are great and the waiter saved the day by quickly noticing I didn't like the dish and exchanged diners right away. However if you are going to charge this types of prices(my Martini was $16)you to need to step up to the plate.

Just returned from two day trip & conditions were excellent. Granted it was midweek so we practically had the mountain to ourselves. Sunburst lift great, but I want to know how the seats are heated? Is it battery that is periodically given a zap charge or some kind of charger keyed in to the chairs movement? Great mountain but for us super seniors a shorter entrance walk from parking lot would be helpful, maybe a magic carpet to bypass the steps.

Just got back from a very early season ski weekend at Okemo. It was impressive to see all the snow both natural and what Okemo is blowing on the trails. The Sunburst Six is great! No lines anywhere! The heated seats are just enough to take the edge off of a chilly seat. Can't wait to go back.

This mountain is always over crowded with people. I don't care to ski in a crowd. You spend more time trying to avoid people than enjoying the terrian. I only went there because a friend that I want to ski with was going to be there. If you truely enjoy skiing as an outdoor experience, go else where. If you love Okemo, please don't go anywhere else.

Okemo was the largest mtn skied and it was an adventure. Paid off to plan ahead for trails- agree that favorite was tuckered out. Can't imagine on a vacation week- lifts to get to the tippy top were crowded. Staff besides the one of gift shop were friendly but other skiers were not the friendliest. I'm used to NH I guess. Very expensive, worth it to do once. Kids were 13, 10, 9 and 7 and had something for all. Might have waited a few years and no way to do whole mtn in one day. Disappointed they closed at 4. Cranmore is open till 6 on Saturdays!

Great hill. First time visit, on a Thurs. No crowds, skied right on to every lift. The people that were there were loving the groomers leaving all the bump runs empty. And there are a ton of them. If you want to work on bumps, here is the place to go. Glades were all tracked out, so if you like trees, go after a fresh dump so you can make your own lines and not just ride in other people's icy ruts. If you like blues, this place is your heaven. A ton, and super wide.

Okemo exceeded my expectations in every way... the area is much larger than I remembered from 25 years ago. There are several flights of steps from the parking lot to the slopes if you start at the main lodge. However, access is much easier if you start in the newer areas such as Solitude and Jackson-Gore.

Don't believe any of Okemo's reports. They always overstate the amount of snow they get. More importantly, they always overstate the trails that are open. They have advertised 100% open for days now. I skied yesterday - the 5 best trails and all the glades were roped off. If you are a good skier, go elsewhere. If you are a novice/intermediate and/or are bringing a family, enjoy the crowds and pay the exorbitant lift prices.

My wife grew up on the mountain and it has become our home away from home. Few crowds, even on President's day weekend; Strong grooming operations; Outstanding, diverse terrain. Just an awesome mountain with friendly staff and plenty of fun for everyone between the 5 lodges and 4 unique areas including. Quantup Leap at Jackson Gore and Exhibition at Solitude are ridiculous - check them out!

Trip with family at all different levels of skiing and boarding abilities. Great ski conditions and helpful, kind staff, especially to kids. Lift lines are quick and well-organized. It is fun skiing with a lot of different types of slopes including some nice glades. The trailmarkings are bizarre---cant gauge skill-level by the color coding at all. It is a pricey resort; fellow skiers are rich and quite entitled. People stand in groups in doorways, in entrances to lift lines with their designer skigear and perfect hairstyles and little regard that there is anyone else using the mountain. Not going to be our first choice for future family vacations.

What a great ski day. Over 20" inches fell throughout the week and the snow was like velvet. some bumps, plenty of groomed runs, not crowded despite the vertical challenge event going on. Plenty of fresh tracks to be found in the trees, too. Okemo is one of the best places for families of all abilities. Stay away from the Epic lodge at lunch unless you want a full dining experience and a 20 minute wait to be seated. Deli fare available too but seating is very limited. all and all one ofthe best days of the season?

It is an upscale mountain with ski in ski out properties that make the slopes easily accessible. The groomers work hard....not a mogul to be found. All in all an easy, fun mountain to ski, exceptional staff and primo accommodations.

Great trip to Okemo, we went for two days, Friday and Saturday, but took advantage of the three day deal for $139, which was cheaper than two days at the normal rate $164 ($80 Fri., $84 Sat.). We had a great time, Okemo has so many trails, I was never board or over-crowded. On Saturday there were some lines at the lifts, but nothing worth complaining over. Things moved fast. The conditions were great! The views from the sumit were amazing. Very happy. Will def be back! FYI - The food was terrible in the lodge but there's a bar down the street with good brews and food.
