Ski and rider tips for Smugglers' Notch

Smuggs is OPEN and has some great snow - even on the trails that are marked "obstacles - light coverage - experts only" Take Upper Runrunner to Black Snake - stay on the left, near the trees the snow is the best. A few rocks to get around on Blacksnake, but the skiing before and after that little section is great. No lift lines on weekdays. Just got home last night from a great weekend!

Smuggs has some unbelievable terrain on Madonna Mountain! Tons of glades and they have the Black Hole claimed to be the East Coast only triple black diamond. I skied their new Attitude gladed trail and it is straight down with deep powder yesterday. Probably best area in Vermont.

Try skiing on a week day. NO lift lines ! Or, ski the weekend before or after the holiday weekends. Smuggs is a great place to ski and has trails for all levels of skiiers.
