Suicide Six Reviews & Tips (15)

We have been skiing here for years and love it because there are never lines and it is not overcrowded. They do a great job grooming. We taught our kids to ski here and it is a great place to do that for the reasons mentioned above. Always friendly and helpful staff. Even when the skirunners are there for events we still don't feel overwhelmed by the volume of people.

Friday morning is a great time to ski S-6 before the kids arrive with Skirunners. Great grooming and you'll have the place to yourself. A gem.

Love Suicide Six. Have skied here since I was a young one. It is great for beginners, and for those who are in the area and want to ski/board half a day before heading south to the flat lands.

Went mid-week and it was empty and quiet. We often had runs entirely to ourselves. Staff members were all friendly and helpful. A very nice little mountain! As relative (but not total) beginners, we appreciated Easy Mile, a long, gentle trail that has some faster stretches and some flat spots. It was perfect for us. I would definitely recommend S6 for those who have skied before and want to practice on gentle green runs. The only downsides were the snow conditions (kind of crunchy, not very thick, mostly machine-made), the limited number of trails open, and the cold wind.

My Fiance and I spent a wonderful Monday on this mountain. The whole experience was perfect from the friendly and helpful staff to the wonderful fresh powder on the trails. The bar and restaurant was a nice touch and a great way to warm up. Lift lines were non-existent. The rental crew was very helpful and accommodating. It was the first time I got to try out this mountain and I will surely be coming back again! There was something for everyone.

Love the place! More than enough to challenge skiers of any level. Some runs may be even more challenging (but a bit shorter) than the more famous "extreme runs" at the bigger VT resorts.

Love the warmth of the lodge, the inside outside fireplace was awesome and gave out so much heat, short lift lines and easy parking. Great family mountain.

Great little hill with a wide variety of trails that can boost the confidence for beginners as well as challenge more advanced skiers. Very friendly family oriented mountain.

I'm local and love S6: great trails for beginners and intermediates, friendly and knowledgeable instructors (Ross and Indie are super) and staff, and short lift lines. The lodge's fireplace is great, and the whole lodge is cozy and clean. The only minus is that the cafeteria has a minimal vegetarian/vegan options (but, hey, nobody is expecting it to be a farmer's market :)). You will not be disappointed, especially if you score a Liftopia deal and come during a weekday.

Suicide six is a great place to go on a weekday but plan to leave at around 2:30 in the afternoon if you want to avoid the groups of kids that go there directly after school. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful and the lodge has a lovely fireplace with windows that overlook the mountain. After skiing you can take a nice long walk around town and eat at Bentley's!

Great place to snowboard when looking for a couple stress free runs. Trails are always nicely groomed and the lift lines are short. The weekly lift ticket deals are great, especially if you live locally.

This is our 5th time back to Suicide Six and my family enjoys the atmosphere there. Great place to spend the day, fireplace going on the inside and an outdoor fire place as well with picnic tables so feel free to pack your own lunch and sit and enjoy the outdoors. Place is sort of a throwback but the lifts seem fine, the staff is friendly and my kids enjoy the mountain, def something for everyone. Perfect green trail for beginner to intermediate.

Great family atmosphere. Don't let roadside view dissuade you. Trails are very nicely groomed and longer than they appear. Double lifts are tight. Definitely would go again.

Skiing here is wonderful because it has a warm and homey lodge and there are no big crowds. The mountain was beautifully groomed and we never had to wait on a lift line of any kind. The mountain is small and the runs short but The Face and Crystal offer a good, steep, run for your money. Not a mountain for those who want terrain parks or lots of feet of vertical, but a great fun place to ski when you want to play. It is also a great place for famillies due to its size and warm, friendly staff.
