Be prepared to pay for everything. A glass of wine $9.50, a locker rental $9.00, Granola Bar $6.00, cup of hot water $1.00, and it goes on and on and on. Also, be prepared to walk and walk and do some more walking in your ski boots. Using the gondola in the village is awful unless you are into walking. OH did I forget, $25.00 to park in the lot. Here is my tip. Drive to the Stagecoach lodge and park for free. not much walking. Bring some lunch so you do not have to go broke paying the ridiculous fees. BUT you still will have to pay $1.00 for a cup of hot water for your soup. The skiing was excellent on the man made snow. Right now only Heavenly and Northstar are worth skiing.

if you arent an advanced skiier or border dont come. you wont like it and you will think its a waste of your money. the backcountry is amazing if you know where to go and is even better if you are willing to hike a little bit.

Don't ever go here over holidays, unless you want to be treated like mindless cattle. The staff is overwhelmed by the numbers and the rudeness comes out everywhere.

I agree with the majority who have written their comments on this blog, i.e. NO lift discount tx. Lift tickets at Heavenly are WAY too expensive, there should be a way to get a discount ticket for the lifts. Children 12 and under are $50!! Unbelievable!

The staff was not knowledgeable about their boards or boots. They messed up the size and configure of the bindings. They said bindings were one size fit all. Ridiculous. Took over 1.5 hours Overall, had a very bad time with the customer experience. Would not go back.

Season pass is the way to go! ! As an added bonus, it's also good for Northstar and Sierra at Tahoe. Online Heavenly discount tix are $78 & have to be purchased in advance, but season pass for $360 is awesome deal. Blackout dates are minimal - - week between xmas and new years, pres. weekend etc. Those are days you typically don't want to be there because of crowds anyway. With this deal, you only need to board 5 days and you've got your pass paid for. No reason to NOT purchase the season pass in my opinion.

The Save Mart discount is LAME this year. Last year was $70 and I used it over President's Day weekend. This year it's $78 with all the typical blackout dates... no good over holiday weekends.

Discount at Heavenly for 9 months of the year. Dec 19th - $379, Dec. 20th - $799. What a rip off! I'll spend my money some place else. I tried to give them my money and they said I had 9 months to buy and basically said, "Sucks to be you."

No discount for Heavenly - the people I talked to were very rude. I had called and didn't get through over the weekend. Now they say the price is double! From $379 to $799 for a season pass. Manager and the person who answered the phone were rude!
