Overview

Northstar at Tahoe is a ski resort located on the north side of Lake Tahoe in California. Nineteen lifts service its 92 trails and 3,000 acres. Northstar has a large selection of both novice, intermediate and advanced terrain. The right side of the resort is especially catered to advanced skiers, with almost exclusively black diamonds, tough glades and bumps. Intermediates... will mostly want to stick to the left side, with groomed cruisers, and to the very left, a large area dedicated to parks and pipes. Northstar at Tahoe is a complete resort, with the luxurious Ritz-Carlton in addition to other on mountain lodging, a tubing hill, extended slopeside dining options, daycare, spa/fitness center, and snowmaking. In the summer, Northstar offers lift assisted hiking and biking, golf, a ropes course, and a kids adventure day camp. I used to work there......$92 for 238 acres is highway robbery. Am assuming negative comments won't be published. Felt I must try to share though.
