Salmon Hills is the best place to X-C ski. There is snow all winter, and it is usually in very good condition. Coey Hill is one of the best trails ever. It was a long climb up, but the ride down made it well worth it. I did a ski race there, and have skied there for recreation, and both times, I haven;t wanted to leave. For the winter-lover, this is paradise!
