Overview
Black Mountain of Maine is a family affordable ski area that focuses on providing fun for the entire family. The Alpine Ski and Snowboarding area has a 1150-foot vertical drop and is lit top-to-bottom for night skiing. Black Mountain’s Nordic (X-C, Cross Country) trails were developed by Rumford’s Chummy Broomhall, a two-time Olympian, designer of the Lake Placid and Squaw... Valley Olympic cross-county trails, and Nordic snow groomer pioneer.
