Lake Louise transforms into a real-life snow globe in the winter that has to be seen to be believed. On this full day tour you’ll have plenty of time to explore on your own: borrow our snowshoes and explore the many trails, wander the shoreline and take in the iconic views, and warm up with a hot drink or a leisurely lunch at the elegant Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Hotel.
To make the most of your visit, rent a pair of ice skates and skate on the frozen lake – an authentic Canadian experience! From late January to mid-March you can even skate around an impressive ice castle and ice sculptures. Horsedrawn sleigh rides run daily along the lakeside trail in traditionally styled sleighs with cozy upholstered seats and blankets to keep you warm. Lake Louise is also the best location to take in some dogsledding (advanced bookings required).
This tour allows you just over four hours of free time at Lake Louise, come and discover this winter wonderland for yourself.
Your lunch is not included, and so you might want to bring something with you. Alternatively, you can purchase food from the Deli at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
