  • Ticket Details

This product includes a beginner area restricted lift ticket (chairs 7 & 9), a 2-hour group lesson, and ski or snowboard rentals. Learning to ski or ride is fun and now easier than ever to afford! This package is for beginners only. You will receive your beginner's lift ticket after you complete your lesson, and the lift ticket is only good for limited terrain. Only one beginner's package can be used per customer. This is the ultimate introduction to the sport of skiing or snowboarding! With our qualified instructors, exceptional beginner terrain and specialized equipment, you will quickly learn the basic skills and techniques. In your lesson, you will learn how to use your equipment, get on and off the chairlift, and controlling speed to stop where and when you want. Tucked away about 35 miles southwest of South Lake Tahoe, Kirkwood Mountain Resort offers big Mountain skiing/riding with a small town attitude. Our unique location atop the Sierra Crest combined with elevations ranging 7,800 to 9,800 feet create a little something we like to call the K-Factor – a geographical predisposition to receive the lightest, the driest, and the most plentiful snow in the Tahoe region. With 2000ft of vertical drop, and over 2300 acres of terrain from calm groomed beginner runs to hair raising cornices, cliffs and the most high angle grooming around, there’s something for everyone at Kirkwood.
