A truly dependable snow destination!
Calling Mont-Sainte-Anne a good mountain is like calling a glass of Château Lafite a tasty beverage, an understatement. This great resort boasts incredible snow conditions and proudly displays an ... impressive trail network across three sides of the mountain. Skiers and riders of all ages will find more than enough land to revel in, while the most skilful and demanding athletes will discover a large expert terrain with enough personality to keep them smiling for days! And only the brave will try to tame The Beast, a new double-black diamond trail so steep it will have your heart stomping...

Host of many World Cup events, the skiing terrain offers breathtaking scenery all around the mountain, with the St. Lawrence River to the south and the Laurentians to the north. Our 66 trails cover 465 acres and 42 miles (68 km), with a 2,050-foot (625-meter) vertical drop. At night, skiers and riders will enjoy our 17 lighted trails and the highest vertical drop for night skiing in Canada.

Mont Sainte Anne Reviews & Tips (8)

Don't ski during Quebec/Ontario March Breaks. This is a great mountain with lots of good runs and lots of good snow. The only complaint is the long haul between the gondola and one of the best runs, La Crete. (Oh, for a magic carpet....) Liftopia tickets were a good buy for a three day pass. We head to Mt. Ste. Anne every couple of years and we would buy our tickets this way again.

You can take a shuttle to Mt. Ste Ann's from the hotels in old Quebec for about $28 roundtriip. This gives you the advantage of experiencing the ambiance of 300+ year old city with some very good skiing. The only disadvantage is it makes for a long day. The buses arrive at the mountain at 8:30 and depart at 4:30.

I also had a 3 day lift ticket converted to 3 out of 4 day ticket, good upgrade by Mt.Ste. Anne. Also, if females are part of your group, Tuesdays are 2 lift tickets for price of one for ladies. Unlike most US northeast areas, Mt.Ste. Anne stops making snow after Jan. 31, so conditions are changed only from natural snow falls.

Although Liftopia sold me a 3-day consecutive pass for Mt. Ste. Anne, the pass was in fact good for any 3 out of 4 days. Bonus !

Great mountain. Variety of trails to ski on. Year after year we keep coming back to Mont Sainte Anne :) Lifts are very well maintained - gondola ride to the top of the mountain rewards riders with a million dollar view of St Lawrence river. Vicinity of Quebec City is a bonus-great historical site, good food..... We will come back :):):)

After a fresh snow fall, don't forget the West side (verdant Ouest). Less skied, less people (it requires an effort to pole to these runs) ; still good snow in the afternoon with the sun still present. Voilà.
