Ski Snow Valley Reviews & Tips (10)
For the price we paid, had some nice slopes for a relatively local place! A little disappointed that we bought an all night pass, and for some reason they decided that they were going to close at 8 instead of the normal 10:30pm...so it was a little unfair, but all in all it was pretty fun.

Took my 7 year old here for the first time and he LOVED it! He wants to go back next weekend. I also enjoyed myself, but my only complaint was the slow lifts. They seem to stop many times, likely because there were a lot of beginners at the hill.

Great day skiing with my husband! The Staff were very considerate and helpful. The runs were great! I would definitely go again. But I have to say - Watch out for little ones learning to ski! I was bowled over by a 4-year old coming from behind! I am 60 years old and I don't usually fall - as the conditions were a bit icy, I fell a few times trying to get my skis back on.

Fairly good conditions...courteous staff on the slopes.....however the food was crummy. Overpriced and they nickel and dime you by charging extra for hamburger toppings!!

I was thrilled and very pleased to find out two things by going to the web site looking for directions.
1. I could save over 50% on my llift and skirental package by paying ahead of time , on line.
2. That you give a discount not only to children but also to young seniors (even though I am a legitimate over 65 now).
I had a marvelous day. I liked the length of the runs and, although it was mid week, it was March Break, but there was plenty of room for everyone and virtually no line up at the tows unless you were behind a ski class. As a grandmother, I can wait for kids to go ahead of me, so no problem.

Liftopia is a great way to take advantage of the end-of-season rates for visiting relatives. There was no problem getting the passes with the online email vouchers. Definitely would do it again!

Overall positive experience at Snow Valley and would go again if I had another discount. It's not the highest hill in the area, but it's a nice place to learn and the staff are pretty good.
We arrived at 11 AM on a Saturday for a 4 hour session. It didn't seem to be very busy. There was plenty of cubbies to keep your things, or lockers if you want it to be more secure. Picking up our passes was easy and there was no line.
Didn't have a chance to check out all the runs. The family run is a nice wide run for learning and there's a couple of green ones from the far left lift that are pretty long and even less steep. There are a couple of blacks off of the far left lift that are not very black at all I felt.
The far left lift is a 4 person lift, and seems to be very slow at times. There would be very little people on the hill, yet there's a huge line up at the bottom of the lift. The middle lift is much faster as it fits 6 people.

Our family went tubing on Sunday morning (day before Family Day) from 9-11am, and got 25% off the price by booking online. The key is to be in the chalet with your printout and ID at least 15 minutes early so you have maximum time on the hill -- the full two hours!
Also, it would help if staff could open the other lift line earlier to shorten the wait time for guests.
All in all, it was a great deal and a lot of fun.

If you are born in 1961, you can buy a season pass for $5 !!!! The hill is small but the lines are short. I like taking the kids here to learn the sport.
