Went on a Wednesday, not busy Wednesday, very nice. Much shorter drive from Toronto than Blue Mountain. No lift lines. Relaxed pace. Relaxed atmosphere. Conditions were good considering the winter we have (not) had so far. This was my first liftopia experience and the first time skiing Snow valley and both experiences were good ones.

The snow quality and grooming at snow valley is excellent! However, I wouldn't suggest going on a weekend. I took my young son two Sundays in a row and it was completely rammed. I would go again, but on a week day.

My children (age 9 and 12) never had been snowboarding before. Complete beginners. They had ONE lesson with an instructor called Chris, he was AWESOME. By the end of the day they were zipping down the slopes like they had been doing it all their lives. My son even went down ALL black diamond hills. Chris ROCKS.

I've skied the big names in the east and the west and Aspen a couple of times and while Snow Valley can't compare in vertical it stacks up on service and delivering snow in a ridiculous climate. Granted their competition in the Barrie area boasts more vertical, but they have the feel of skiing's version of a Walmart. If you're looking to get away for some decent skiing, learning the sport of or snowboarding, or want a place the whole family can enjoy on the slopes and in the lodge Snow Valley has it. They have that intangible I would call "ambience" or even cozy. You get the sense they didn't try to take the 400 and put a slant on it. It seems to me that some other resorts accomplished that without trying! accomplished

The quality of snow was pretty good considering it was man made, even though it was snowing quite a bit the day we went, I guess that would've helped. It was fun, the bunny hills were great when I took my friends, all the hills are pretty tame, nothing too crazy. It's a very rewarding feelings being able to go down the hills labelled blacks. The discount made the trip very worth while. It got very busy towards 11am till about 3PM, but it died down after around 4:30-5PM. Great place over, I would definitely visit again, and recommend Ski Snow to people getting a grasp of the sport. Only complaint is that the food was pretty expensive.. a chicken burger with fries was up to 9$ before taxes, and ordering veggies on your burgers would've cost you extra money.

I love the convenience of Snow Valley. Liftopia was so easy and great prices. Close from Toronto. Acceptable runs for learners. Great Ski School Staff. Great snow grooming. End of season Rates should start March 1 and not after March break for only 1 week of value?Even if it was one day more expensive( $150 vs $89?) The only negative experience is the Loitering of Non Skiers in the lodge and people who think Leaving a Ski Bag at an eating table actually Reserves a table? I wish staff would regularly ask non skiers to use their other lounges for Non Skiers and remove any Reservations of ANY tables in the Cafeteria!!

I've bought a few tickets this season and I love it! I also bought a ticket and snowboard rental for a friend and was very happy with what we got. Just a reminder though, the rental doesn't include a helmet, but they do rent them for only $9 Definitely going to keep visiting

Good day at the hill very pleased with repair shop -they fixed my sons snowboard bindings and adjusted position for only $12.Very short lift lines despite being during christmass break. Reccomend for beginners and warmup.

For the price we paid, had some nice slopes for a relatively local place! A little disappointed that we bought an all night pass, and for some reason they decided that they were going to close at 8 instead of the normal it was a little unfair, but all in all it was pretty fun.

Took my 7 year old here for the first time and he LOVED it! He wants to go back next weekend. I also enjoyed myself, but my only complaint was the slow lifts. They seem to stop many times, likely because there were a lot of beginners at the hill.

Great day skiing with my husband! The Staff were very considerate and helpful. The runs were great! I would definitely go again. But I have to say - Watch out for little ones learning to ski! I was bowled over by a 4-year old coming from behind! I am 60 years old and I don't usually fall - as the conditions were a bit icy, I fell a few times trying to get my skis back on.

Fairly good conditions...courteous staff on the slopes.....however the food was crummy. Overpriced and they nickel and dime you by charging extra for hamburger toppings!!

I was thrilled and very pleased to find out two things by going to the web site looking for directions. 1. I could save over 50% on my llift and skirental package by paying ahead of time , on line. 2. That you give a discount not only to children but also to young seniors (even though I am a legitimate over 65 now). I had a marvelous day. I liked the length of the runs and, although it was mid week, it was March Break, but there was plenty of room for everyone and virtually no line up at the tows unless you were behind a ski class. As a grandmother, I can wait for kids to go ahead of me, so no problem.

Liftopia is a great way to take advantage of the end-of-season rates for visiting relatives. There was no problem getting the passes with the online email vouchers. Definitely would do it again!

Overall positive experience at Snow Valley and would go again if I had another discount. It's not the highest hill in the area, but it's a nice place to learn and the staff are pretty good. We arrived at 11 AM on a Saturday for a 4 hour session. It didn't seem to be very busy. There was plenty of cubbies to keep your things, or lockers if you want it to be more secure. Picking up our passes was easy and there was no line. Didn't have a chance to check out all the runs. The family run is a nice wide run for learning and there's a couple of green ones from the far left lift that are pretty long and even less steep. There are a couple of blacks off of the far left lift that are not very black at all I felt. The far left lift is a 4 person lift, and seems to be very slow at times. There would be very little people on the hill, yet there's a huge line up at the bottom of the lift. The middle lift is much faster as it fits 6 people.

Our family went tubing on Sunday morning (day before Family Day) from 9-11am, and got 25% off the price by booking online. The key is to be in the chalet with your printout and ID at least 15 minutes early so you have maximum time on the hill -- the full two hours! Also, it would help if staff could open the other lift line earlier to shorten the wait time for guests. All in all, it was a great deal and a lot of fun.

If you are born in 1961, you can buy a season pass for $5 !!!! The hill is small but the lines are short. I like taking the kids here to learn the sport.
