About Crystal Mountain | Learn-to-Turn Group Ski Lessons

  • Details

Geared for ages 13+. Our professional instructors introduce the equipment, basic movements, gliding, stopping, turning, and riding a surface lift during this two-hour lesson.

Lessons begin at 11:00 AM. Cost includes a lesson lift ticket which will be provided when checking in for your lesson. The lesson lift ticket is only valid during your lesson time. If you plan to ski or snowboard after your lesson, we recommend purchasing your lift tickets online, in advance. Cost does not include equipment rental. If you are renting equipment, please plan to also complete a rental waiver. A CDC-approved mask or face covering is required during all lessons. Instructors will distance themselves but may be within six feet of participants at times.

Helmets are REQUIRED for all lesson participants. You may bring your own helmet or rent one.

Guests who are unable to complete the waiver in advance will have the ability to do so upon arrival, however, your check-in will take significantly longer. Please be sure to arrive at least an hour early so that you do not lose out on any of your lesson time.

Lessons must be purchased a minimum of 5 days in advance. All lessons will check-in at the Mountain Adventure Zone for instruction.

Please call the Snowsports Desk at 231-378-2000 ext. 2000 to ask for availability for any sold out dates.

  • Pick-up Instructions

Check-in at the Snowsports Desk, located in the Mountain Adventure Zone. We recommend arrival at least 60 minutes prior to lesson start time: prior evening is highly recommended.
