Stratton offers big mountain skiing and riding from the summit of southern Vermont’s highest peak with 620 acres, 99 trails, 100+ acres of glades, four terrain parks and 11 lifts including the summit gondola and five high-speed chairs. With a vertical drop of 2,003 feet, Stratton offers a blend of terrain from narrow and steep to wide-open cruisers. Skiers and riders can start their day at the main base area (with the gondola, high-speed six person chair and the learning area lifts and magic carpet) or at the Sun Bowl which offers slope side parking, full-service base lodge and access to all mountain terrain via a high-speed six passenger chairlift. Stratton terrain is a blend of 40 percent novice, 35 percent intermediate and 25 percent advanced.
