Beaver Creek is a comfortable resort in Vail Valley, covering 1,815 acres and 3,340 feet vertical. It is known for plates of chocolate chip cookies and spa treatments, but also has plenty of terrain for those who want to rip it up. Stone Creek was recently opened and has some of the hardest terrain in the resort, including glades and chutes. The Birds of Pray Express Lift and Grouse Mountain Express Lift also have some fun pitches and glades. If you or someone is just learning there are plenty of fun winding greens and a couple learning areas (at Beaver Creek Village). Groomed cruisers are also prevalent throughout the park. Beaver Creek is nestled between 3 different village centers (Beaver Creek, Arrowhead, and Bachelor Gulch), creating a relaxed and luxurious European atmosphere. With numerous accommodations very close to the mountain, including a slope-side Ritz-Carlton, staying on the mountain can be very enjoyable.
