Mohawk Mountain is a medium sized resort located in Connecticut. Created by the same man behind Mount Snow, it has 7 ski lifts (with an impressive 5 chair lift set). Mohawk Mountain is known for its role in creating snowmaking, and today all 24 trails are covered by snowmaking. The hardest areas on the mountain are along the left edge of the ski area along the Boulder Summit triple chairlift. In the middle of the resort is entirely made of intermediate cruisers. Along the right side of the resort are a number of novice trails including a couple narrow but easy trails.
